You’ve probably seen analog speakers for phones, and tablets that amplify sound not by electronic speakers, but by routing sound waves through a plastic funnel type device. Now you can do the same thing for your electric guitar. The DelSonix clip on guitar amplifier is a specially designed “speaker” for your electric guitar that doesn’t require cords, batteries or power to amplify sound. The device is made up of a wooden post that clips to the guitar’s headstock, and a thin plastic cone that takes the sound vibrations from the wooden post and projects the sounds waves out like a speaker allowing an unplugged electric guitar sound similar to an acoustic guitar. The DelSonix clip on guitar amplifier looks a little goofy, but it looks like a less bulky alternative to an amp – especially for practice sessions. You can buy the DelSonix clip on guitar amplifier for $34 CAD ($24.54 US) through delsonix.ca

Interesting! I haven’t seen these before. Will this work as a sail when I’m canoeing?
Cheers!
