NEWS – Here’s an easy way to customize your favorite EDC multi-tool or knife. Ripps Garage Tech sells skin sets for a variety of popular EDC knife and multi-tool brands like Leatherman, Spyderco, Kershaw, KeyBar, and more. Shown here are just two of the skins sets for the Leatherman ARC multi-tool (my personal favorite). Priced at $19.99 and available in a large selection of patterns, the skin sets are made out of 500D Cordura with a 3M adhesive backing. What do you think? Would you trick out your Leatherman with these skins? Head over to rippsgaragetech.com to check them out.

      1. Hi Julie,

Not bad considering my advanced age. We’ve been traveling around the US in our 36′ diesel pusher, exploring interesting places like Slab City, the Desert Bar, ghost towns, route 66 etc. We’re on hiatus now, taking care of some age related issues, but will head back to Yuma for the winter months this fall. The NH winters are too brutal.

I read The Gadgeteer every chance I get. Still my source of new stuff to buy. I trust all is well with you.

    1. Yeah the price is a bit hard to swallow but I’m in for a set for my Arc that I specifically have a concern with as the shiny stainless sides are very slick — my hands have slipped more than once using them, this looks better than any homebrew solution I’d be able to manage probably, heh

If it was a little cheaper I’d probably go in on some for my other tools too but not at that price.
