REVIEW – I don’t really baby my phones except for one thing. I always put a screen protector on them immediately. Or that’s what I usually do. I failed to do that when I bought the iPhone 16 Pro Max last fall. I put it off and paid the “price” of getting a scratch. 😟 So heed my advice and protect your investment asap. The latest screen protector that I’ve had the opportunity to try is the iOttie Terra. What makes it special and is it easy to install? Keep reading to find out.

Design and features
What makes the iOttie Terra different than the bazillion of other screen protectors on the market? The Terra screen protector features a reusable applicator box made from 100% recycled wood pulp, which means less plastic waste.
Inside the box, which also functions as part of the installation materials, is a specially designed fixture that is sized perfectly for the iPhone.
My iPhone 16 Pro Max fit in the fixture like a hand in a glove.
Is installing the iOttie Terra easy?
In a word – yes. Yes, it is. First, you clean and polish the iPhone’s screen using the included alcohol wipe and cloth. Next, you check for any little pieces of dust or lint, and you can use the included stickers to remove them or do as I do and just blow them off. Just don’t spit on the screen, or you’ll be back to step one.
Then, you remove one of the screen protectors from the package. You will notice that there are two cutouts on the top edge. A rectangle and a circle.
You match the pegs in the fixture with the holes in the screen protector and fold out the pull tab.
Then, you close the cover on the box.
Last but not least, you pull the pull tab, which allows the screen protector’s adhesive to touch the iPhone’s display. Wait for 10 seconds, and then…
You’re done! A perfect install with no bubbles (I hate bubbles) at all. Also, the edges of the tempered glass screen protector aren’t sharp but are slightly rounded for comfort.
Final thoughts
There isn’t much else to say about the iOttie Terra screen protector. The packaging is recyclable, not a lot of waste, the instructions are clear and easy to understand, and the installation is fast and flawless. Just what I like and want with a screen protector. And the price isn’t bad either, considering that you get two protectors.
