CROWDFUNDING NEWS – I only travel 3 or 4 times a year, but when I do, I always take my MacBook with me because I don’t know what it means to “unplug.” Speaking of plugs, since I take my MacBook when I travel, I also take the power adapter. It’s always annoying to take the adapter out of my bag to find that the cable has come unwound and is a tangled up mess. The TAIM cord organizer (currently seeking funding on Kickstarter) was designed to solve this issue.
What is it?
TAIM is a cable organizer for MacBook chargers and their cables to hold them securely in place. It is crafted from premium Merino wool felt with a hook and loop elastic strap with a bronze-finished metal grab tab.
Why do I like it?
I like the TAIM because it’s a simple design that solves a problem without being difficult to use, and it looks great while doing it. There are no difficult to use mechanisms or locks. Just wrap your cable around the charger and the strap keeps it in place.
Where can I find more info?
The TAIM campaign ends on 02/15/24, and they have already met their funding goal of $4,000. You can pre-order a TAIM starting at $28. After the TAIM campaign ends, rewards are estimated to ship in May 2024. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.
