Design and features
The SNUGMAX Vickers 200 is extremely portable at just 8.25″ wide, 4.25 deep, and 7″ tall (209mm x 108mm x 178mm). It features a sturdy carry handle on the top and two large rubber feet on the bottom. Two AC ports on the end provide up to 200 watts of 110v/60Hz pure sine wave power that ensures maximum compatibility with modern electronics.
The backside has a 3″x1 1/8″ LED flashlight. The light has three modes: Steady, flashing, and SOS. I can attest to the flashlight feature’s usefulness, having suffered a power outage at 1 AM last night. According to the built-in digital display, the flashlight only draws 1watt, which means it could probably run for about nine days. The flashlight is quite bright, and I found it to be a very nice feature.
The front of the unit includes an easy to read LCD that displays the battery level, watts being used, and hours of runtime left. In addition to the 3 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C port the front of the unit also includes two DC output ports capable of 12v/10A output. Also on the front is an On/Off power button and an AC power button. The unit also includes an internal cooling fan that will turn on when the internal temperature reaches 45C/113F.
The SNUGMAX Vickers 200 will charge in 7 to 8 hours with the included wall adapter. Charging time from a solar panel will vary depending on the output of the solar panel.
The included manual is straightforward to read and provides information about all aspects of using it, unlike some manuals that often use pictograms with very few words.
The charging capability of the device will obviously depend on what you’re charging. The manual does include a sample reference for typical devices:
When using the AC power output with my 14″ laptop, the display told me I was only using 15 watts and could run for 12 hours! The watt display is quite handy just to know what a device is drawing as far as power goes. The hours left display is also very useful to know how long you have left.
I ran a variety of devices such as Bluetooth speakers and camera battery chargers from the USB ports, my laptop and CPAP from the AC port, and charged several phones with the USB-C port. I could not run my CPAP from the 12V port because my cord is really odd, but if you can find the right plug, you should be able to run your CPAP the entire night. The display said my CPAP would run for over 10 hours on the AC port.
What I like
- Multiple Charging Options
- Included printed manual
- Flashlight
- Watt and Hours display
What I’d change
- Nothing I can think of
Final thoughts
This is quite a handy little device. It’s nice to know I can charge my devices anywhere, and have an entire day or more of charge for my laptop. With mild use, probably a few days on the laptop. It is small enough to carry around and very easy to use. I was very pleased with the SNUGMAX Vickers 200!

What brand of solar panel connects to the snug max 350?
Works 2-3 hours with my HP Envy 200W laptop (no other laptop external batteries from my old laptop works with this super hungry HP Envy (i9, 32gb RAM, Nvidia … the whole catastrophy)).
Previously I had 2 x 173W external batteries that I was allowed to take on the plane (sometimes with special paper as they are large and heavy and lithium-ion)
I charge it all night at home with wall socket (yes 7 hours as specified in review)
The charging in the car is a joke – you can not charge this in 1-2 hours of traffic, but I supose that I can recharge my phone from the result of car charging (I have 2 other normal batteries for phones = 0.5kg each, to charge all the phones at a large dinner table 🙂 )
So I need to buy another one of this SnugMax Vivers 300W to get my 6 hours of car use of laptop. I do not need to pay monthly fee for the gym with all these batteries 🙂
Thank you for the review – I searched a lot of batteries and providers to keep up with working far away from home
The best solution are my Kindle readers with 2 weeks operational internal bateries – but how can you live with only reading and no Action 🙂
Had my SnugMax for 15 months. only used it for an office led lamp for construction site desk work when no electricity. Loved it, but it did not love me back and went completely crazy at 15 months. Short time for that amount of money. Warranty??? was told 12 months. Took to a battery rejuvenation business and was told there was nothing they can do with it. I would charge it over night at my room, car charge was a joke, and when it acted up after charging only lasted 30 minutes, when used to be 25 to 30 hours.
