The PowerSkin PoP’n 2 is a backup battery for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus which features a 4000 mAh battery that can fully recharge the iPhone 6 Plus once and the iPhone 6 one and a half times. Backup batteries are available in all manner of shapes and sizes, but this one has a unique way that it attaches to the iPhone. The PoP’n 2 uses suction cups to stick to the back of the phone instead of using a USB cable. That way you can use the phone while it’s recharging instead of having a battery pack dangling from the Lightning port. The PowerSkin PoP’n 2 also has a flexible connector that allows it to be used even when the iPhone is in a case. Speaking of cases, a crystal clear protective case for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is included for free with the PoP’n 2 battery pack. The PoP’n 2 is priced at $69.99 and comes in Black, White, Pink, and Blue. It can be ordered at www.Power-Skin.com.

  2. “fully recharge the iPhone 6 Plus once and the iPhone 6 one and a half times”
A 4000 mAh battery pack will recharge the iPhone 6 (1810 mAh) 2.2 times
and the iPhone 6 Plus (2915 mAh) 1.37 times.

  3. @Jon no external battery has 100% conversion efficiency. Most power banks have efficiency rate between 70% – 85%. Judging from the figures this PowerSkin has around 70%. The specs aren’t wrong.

  4. Mine just arrived! I like it! It comes with a protective transparent case for the iPhone too but the fit isn’t that tight. It worked with my Spigen Slim Armor CS case also and that’s a lot thicker. The connector arm is flexible to manage a whole gamut of different case thicknesses. The charger is a better solution than my dangling power block (albeit a small Mophie one) as it fits comfortably in the hand. It basically makes the iphone 6 as thick as say a late 90’s cellphone so definately not too bad.
