Yesterday I posted a round up of 7 activity trackers of which the Misfit Shine was included. One of the knocks against this futuristic styled activity tracker has been the lack of an Android data syncing app. I’m happy to announce that the wait is over, Misfit Wearables has just released an Android app which is compatible with devices running Android 4.3 and above with Bluetooth 4.0, such as the Samsung Galaxy S4/Note 3, Google Nexus 4/5, and HTC One. The app allows users to sync their Shine to their device, set their personal activity goals, see visual summaries of how they’re doing each day and week-to-week, among other features.
If the lack of Android syncing has been holding you back from buying the coin cell battery powered Shine, you no longer have an excuse to buy one. The app is free and the Shine is priced at $119.95

Well the app is nice and clean. But $ 120 is bit high in my opinion.
Im going to make an app just like that – but with a different gadget. I submitted my idea to http://www.app-inventor.de/ and hope the costs won’t be that high.
Maybe I’ll just drop my project.
