You’ve probably seen our news items about the gorgeous Paper app from FiftyThree and about having custom Moleskine notebooks created from your Paper notebooks. Now we need to tell you that the folks at FiftyThree have introduced a stylus designed to work with their app. The Pencil is available in Walnut (shown) or Graphite brushed aluminum. It uses Bluetooth Smart wireless to connect to Paper so you can work seamlessly, without having to pull up the tool selection menu so frequently. It of course has a drawing end, and the opposite end is an eraser, so using the Pencil is more like using a… well, pencil. It also has palm rejection, so you can rest your hand on the surface, just like you do when working on paper. You can store your Pencil on the Smart Cover of your iPad; the Walnut version contains a magnetic strip to make this possible. The Walnut model is $59.95; the Graphite is $49.95. They’re available now from FiftyThree.
