Several times I have watched my husband pull a few cards or dollar bills from his wallet just before going out and leave the wallet at home. He also always has his phone on him. Why not put the two together? Several companies have put out different models of cell phone cases with an attached card holder, and so far they seem to be getting better and better. The latest one I have come across is the SAFE Wallet case by BulletTrain, which was recently fully funded on Kickstarter.
BulletTrain claims that this case is different than the others because they started with a wallet and then added a compartment for the phone. They also made it so the wallet section of the case can also be used as a kickstand, allowing you to watch videos on your phone without the need for a separate accessory. It is compact, but spacious enough to allow for two credit cards, a drivers license, and two house keys. A hidden compartment allows for a small item such as a folded up dollar bill. The SAFE Wallet is set to ship out to backers in April, comes in five different colors, and will available for the iPhone 4/4S and 5 for $39.

My concern with this product is putting all of your eggs in one basket. Lose your phone and you lose your ID, cash and possibly your credit cards. I don’t even keep my cash in my wallet, I carry a money clip.
I was a pre order on kick starter back in January and still have not seen my safe wallet
I received my SAFEWallet a few days ago and I love it. I only have two issues with it. 1) All of the prototype pictures show the accent color as metallic. I ordered the blue and it is not metallic at all. It still looks nice, but just not as nice as the red metallic color.
2) The hole for the lighting connector is only big enough for the Apple USB cable. I have an Apple Lightning to micro USB adapter to use with my car chargers and it just will not fit in the hole. They do warn you in their FAQ, but it is buried on the sight.

Nice article. I received my safe wallet to weeks ago and I’m disappointed with it.
First, the power and volume buttons are just a fail. Some people are complaining about it, so do I.
Also, the case won’t cover the left side of the phone because there is a bump in the inside of the case, between the volume and mute button, that prevent the case from covering perfectly.
Finally, simply putting your phone in your pocket everyday will eventually scratch the rubber of the back of the case out. Only one day I got mine, scratches appeared and I didn’t put it anywhere from my pocket or my bed.
So what did Jake do? He have left us with an instruction page, which says that there are known issues with the case and that You have to deal with it. What a nice way to not say the case is a finished product but with some big problems.
I hate to do that but people have the right to know: this case is not a finished product! It had been delayed for a long time, for production problems, and know it’s not finished? I tried to join Jake several times but he won’t answer anymore, at least if you have problem.
Terrible experience so far. They shipped out the wrong colors to everyone and has had no updates on how they are fixing that. Plus the colors come off the case I have read.
