Cuppow is a silicone drinking lid that converts any wide-mouthed canning jar into a travel mug. Canning jars are sturdy, heat-resistant, easy to clean, and cheap, but their wide openings don’t make them a travel-friendly mug. Simply replace the seal with the Cuppow, screw the ring back on, and you have a eco-friendly cup that you can take in the car without worrying about spills. The Cuppow is $7.99. (Hopefully they’ll come out with jar sleeves to protect your hands from hot coffee and tea burns.)

Hard to believe that it is not possible to buy a good insulated travel mug for $8. Besides, most car cup-holders are sized for narrower cylinders than the typical canning jars.
Kind of a cute, out-of-the-box, idea…but it is hard to see any legs in the concept, especially at that price.
@RainyDayInterns It probably wouldn’t work in car cupholders, but this would work well for my husband at work. His company has removed all paper and styrofoam cups from their coffee stations and their cafeteria. They issued porcelain coffee cups and plastic cold-drink cups to their employees. My husband doesn’t like the plastic cup, so he might like one of these for his cold drink mug at work.
I agree with RainyDayInterns, for $8 you can just buy a real mug.
Ah but if you want to drink your Moonshine neatly you’re all set.
I try to be a Mason jar half full kind of guy.
Sleeves are easy enough to make, I can do it easy.
They are awesome AND you beverage sleeves fit on jar!!
