The Sossbox4 is a high-tech storage box for loose tea other dried organic materials. The box is constructed of aluminum alloy with a glass bead blast finish and stainless steel fasteners and screen, neodymium magnets, and silicone seals. The box is an FDA-compliant food-grade storage system that’s hermetically sealed. The sections of the box mate together with magnets, and the top of the box is magnetic for stacking the boxes. A screen section is available for the bottom of the box at an additional cost. The Sossbox4 is available for pre-order now for $199 (normally $249) without the screen or $249 with a screen (normally $299). It will ship in early May.

Right …. “loose tea storage”. I know a stash box when I see it.
@Kurt I live in GoodyTwoShoesLand. We only see a tea box here! Or a tobacco box, if you’re naughty. 😉
I love the concept, but not the price……
I could totally make one of these myself with a metal bento box, laboratory sieve, silicone tape, and old speakers (for the neodymium magnets)
@kurt and @janet
Just check their FAQ (http://sossbox.com/pages/faq). They openly recommend it for weed storage.
And at those prices … ahhh, yeah … it’s a stash box.
@AirTightAlibi Yeah, I saw the FAQs. I was just joking. I can’t imagine what kind of tea would deserve a $200 box…
Good grief $250 for a metal box to keep lose tea in is outrageous! I’ll stick with the one my Gran gave me!
Looks nice, but at that price, I’ll stick to my Fortnum & Mason tins.
