The newly re-designed Pen Mouse from Genius doesn’t keep you tied to a desk. With the 2.4GHz Pen Mouse, you can mouse on any surface – your hands, your jeans, or almost anything else you find. The mouse has been redesigned for a more comfortable grip and a pen clip has been added. Three DPI settings (400/800/1200 dpi) lets you adjust the sensitivity as needed, and a power-saving function saves your battery (1 AAA required). Pushing down on the mouse triggers the left button, and a right button and a “flying scroll” button are located at the top of the pen. The Pen Mouse works with Windows computers (Windows 7, Vista, or XP) and requires a USB port for connecting the tiny Pico receiver. It comes with a travel case to protect the pen and receiver when not in use. The Genius Pen Mouse is available in silver or carbon gray; it’s $49 in the US.

Back in the day, I had the corded, PS-2 version of this… except it had a tiny rollerball in the base!
Windows 7: To outfit the pen mouse to better accessibility to all its potential, search mouse in start menu. Click “mouse” then go to “buttons” in devices search for other pointing devices. Switch to left handed, press apply. I would remove clip because it sometimes gets int eh way.
