I haven’t used a mouse pad in years because my 6yr old Logitech MX Revolution wireless mouse doesn’t need one. That said, all I’m doing is normal stuff while surfing and writing. Gamers are more high maintenance than I am. They require a mouse pad like the Sense Chrome Blue High Precision Gaming Mousepad from Hamburg Germany based ROCCAT. This mouse pad is 400 x 280mm x 2mm high. It has a special microcrystalline coating which is incorporated into the fabric surface to provide frictional resistance between the mouse and the pad. This coating improves the gliding capability of the mouse so you can kill that villian a micro second faster than your buddies. If your mousing has felt sluggish, the ROCCAT Sense Chrome Blue High Precision Gaming Mousepad will be available in the US in early fall for an MSRP of $19.99.

Take good care of your MX Revolution. Mine conked out on me a few months ago, and Logitech no longer sells it. The replacement is the Performance MX, and it’s far, far, inferior.
In fact…I was looking at Amazon and eBay to check the price so I could quote it here ($250 from sellers on Amazon!!), and I found one new in box on eBay for $142 shipped. I had to buy it. Can’t stand this Performance MX.
@Chris I switch between the MX Revolution and the even older MX1000. I let one run all the way down and then use the other and keep switching.
