Although Clava calls this a brief case, the Upright Vertical Leather Brief is designed to hold up to a 15″ laptop. Under the front flap are organizer pockets, a zippered pocket, and storage for files or a laptop. The back section unzips to reveal an accordioned folder with three sections for more storage. Inside is a padded laptop sleeve for smaller laptops; remove the sleeve to hold up to a 15″ laptop. The bag is made of top grain leather and is available in Vachetta Cafe (shown), Vachetta Black, or Tuscan Tan for $260.00.

I am extremely happy with this bag – the width of it makes it perfect for bringing my laptop and a single change of clothes with me and that’s generally all I need on a given day. I found messenger bags too amorphous and briefcases too clunky – Clava’s Leather Brief was a great compromise.
