Here’s a Use for Your Old iPad – Griffin Crayola ColorStudio HD

If you’re getting the new iPad 2 later this week, pass along your old one to your kids so they can use the Crayola ColorStudio HD from Griffin.  They’ll use a custom-built digital stylus, the iMarker, along with the Crayola ColorStudio HD coloring app.  The app can differentiate between your child’s fingers and the iMarker, so she’ll be able to both color and manipulate the coloring space without having to toggle modes on the iMarker.  The app comes with a library of coloring pages, and your child can design her own animated pages.  Pages can be printed out for coloring with regular Crayolas.  The app offers other games and activities, and the app content will updated periodically.  There’s no release date or price available yet, but you can sign up at Griffin to be notified when details are known.

Or you could pass your old iPad on to *me*… just saying.

Seriously? Give my “old” iPad to my kid? It’s like, three months old! I agree with SNL – Steve Jobs is a jerk for making everyone feel bad about their christmas presents.
