If you’re a basketball coach, player, or just a devoted fan, you can now use your iPad as a playbook. Use the PlaybookBball app from Daren to create step-by-step plays on a court drawn to scale. Select high school, NCAA, FIBA (Oct. 2010 rules), or NBA courts; select the number of players per team and their positions, and choose to show or hide opponents. You can watch animations of your plays and email a PDF of your play to your team. You can even include notes in your plan for later reference, or copy an existing play to try out modifications.
