How many paper cups do you trash in a day?

Here’s another Earth Day idea… It’s the “I am not a paper cup…” cup. It sure looks like a paper cup, but it’s actually a porcelain cup with a silicone lid. It might look like it’s more a novelty product, than something serious, but it has double walls to keep your beverage insulated and hot. I think it’s a great idea to use an alternative like this instead of trashing disposable cups every day. I have a regular glass mug that I keep at work to drink my tea in the morning. Something to consider :)

I just bought one of these at Whole Foods for something around $25. Pricey but I thought it was neat. Once I got home and took it out of the packaging, it went right back in and got returned. The ceramic is kinda rough and I hated the feel of it. If it was a bit smoother I would have definatly kept it.

I actually got a plastic one from dunkin donuts that looked like one of their foam cups. And I also got a ceramic one that looks like those small coffee cups that you find in nyc. Pretty cool stuff.

None, my company is retarded and throws out thousands of styrofoam cups a day.

I bought a ceramic rendition of the iconic New York City “We Are Happy To Serve You” paper coffee cup from the MoMA store.
There is also a set of “crumpled plastic cups”.

Terence,
When you said “The ceramic is kinda rough and I hated the feel of it”, did it feel weird to touch like frosted glass or did you mean that the product is not well finished?
Thanks
