Design and features

The COFIBREWS Burr Coffee Bean Grinder features an elegant design, crafted mainly from stainless steel with minimal plastic compared to its competitors. The machine measures 6.5 x 5.1 x 15 inches and weighs just under 6 pounds. The upright design and removable bean hopper make it easy to fit on countertops or store in cupboards.
The generous-size bean hopper (10.6oz) is equipped with a manual coffee bean stopper. It is removable, making it both easy to fill and clean.

To help with cleaning, there is a brush attached to the inside of the lid.

Just below the hopper, there is a grind setting dial. The dial lets you easily select the precise grind for your coffee. There are 45 grind settings, ranging from espresso to drip, pour-over, and French press.

The front of the grinder features an easy-to-read LED control panel. There are four settings to choose from: timed, cups, espresso, and manual grind.

There is a height-adjustable and removable stand designed for use with different-sized portafilters for espresso grinding (portafilter not included).

The grinder comes with a removable powder tray and a stainless steel container for collecting coffee grounds.

All of the grinder’s main parts (bean hopper, conical burr, powder outlet, and powder tray) are removable, making it extremely easy to clean.
The Hopper Bellow attaches to the top of the bean hopper and helps remove any residual powder from inside the machine for a deep clean.

For grinding, the COFIBREWS Burr Coffee Bean Grinder features a 40mm high-quality stainless steel conical burr that rotates at 450 rpm, minimizing heat and preserving coffee bean flavor. It also features overheat protection and an anti-static design, which reduces mess and clumping.

Performance
The COFIBREWS Burr Coffee Bean Grinder is super easy and even fun to use. I put my beans in the hopper, select my grind size (30 for me), choose my grinding method on the LED touchscreen (manual grind for me), and 30 seconds later, I have perfectly ground coffee, ready to brew. It’s also pretty quiet compared to my single-blade grinder.

I took a couple of pictures to illustrate how much better the COFIBREWS Burr Coffee Bean Grinder is than my previous blade grinder. They were taken post-brew. As you can see, the blade grinder left behind some partially unground beans. Whereas the burr grinder produced an even, consistent grind. And believe me, the grind makes a big difference in your coffee’s flavor.

Cleaning the grinder afterwards is a snap. It only takes me a couple of minutes to fully clean the machine, and it’s ready for the next morning’s grind.
Final thoughts
If you’re looking to upgrade your morning coffee game, the COFIBREWS Burr Coffee Bean Grinder is an excellent choice. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, relatively quiet, and most importantly, the grind is consistent every time. This machine is a joy to use, so much so that I actually look forward to using it every morning. And on a side note, it kinda makes me feel like a barista.

A couple important things your review leaves out: is the hopper made of glass or plastic? And is there any static buildup? Stainless steel burrs (which is what you say this grinder have) tend to produce a lot of static electricity, causing some of the grounds to cling to the walls of the ground beans container and sometimes makes a mess when trying to clean. Lastly, while you mentioned 45 settings, are the smallest settings really small enough for espresso? While I don’t drink espresso, I found some cheaper grinders can’t really get the grounds small enough.
Lastly, a piece of advice for an even bigger step up: buy yourself a roaster (for as little as $100 on amazon) and roast your own beans. That’s where I found the biggest difference in taste. Going from a chopper to a burr grinder makes a difference, but when you roast your own beans, you’re getting a much fresher product. And it’s a single-button operation with most roasters, so not hard at all.
