REVIEW – I have a lot of stuff, but I like to keep my stuff out of sight because I’m a bit of a neat freak. I can shove everything in a drawer, but that’s not neat. When I was offered the CottageHome Snack Box for review, I immediately knew that I wouldn’t be using it for its intended purpose, but instead, I’d use it to store my “stuff”. Let’s see if it makes a good stuff box and a good snack box.
What is it?
The CottageHome Snack Box is a travel/storage box for snacks (or in my case, “stuff”).

Design and features
The Snack Box has a clear tray with an opaque lid that attaches with four latches.
The lid has a silicone seal that will help ensure that your snacks stay fresh.
The lid has two handles that fold up for easy transport.
The lid also has a built-in vent.
The vent pops up to prevent condensation when storing warm food.
The vent has an additional feature that is pretty cool. It has a date function. You can turn the vent to point at the day of the month. It’s an easy way to keep track of the freshness of the contents.
Inside the tray are eight individual containers that are approximately 3.7 x 2.9 inches and 2 inches tall. It would be great if they made at least a couple of the containers longer for things like celery or carrots.
The containers lift out for filling, washing, sharing, etc.
I already mentioned that I had a storage idea for the CottageHome Snack Boxes when they were first offered to me. Not snacks, but…
Washi tape! Yes, I’m a journalling nerd and love all things stationery like pens, markers, notebooks, and washi tape.
The CottageHome Snack Box is the perfect size for storing (part of) my washi tape collection – yes, there is more… so much more…
Another great feature of the Snack Boxes is that they can stack. But not just stack. They can latch together so that you can move/carry multiple Snack Boxes from place to place.
If you have two (or more) CottageHome Snack Boxes, you can remove a lid, place another Snack Box on top and the latch will secure to the short sides of the tray.
But you ask, aren’t there four latches on each box? Yes, there are.
Unfortunately, the latch tabs are only on the short sides of the Snack Box. While I’d rather be able to use all four latches for a stack of multiple Snack Boxes, they still felt secure enough to move from place to place with just two latches. Just make sure you are mindful when you close those two latches.
Final thoughts
The CottageHome Snack Boxes are well-made storage containers that have a nice selection of features that make them handy for storing snacks or, in my case – stuff. They are dishwashable, microwaveable, and stackable, and you can even set the date when you fill them. Now, I need to go order more for the rest of my washi tape!
