Let me start by saying I do not condone smoking in any way shape or form. Now with that said, unfortunately I am a smoker. However I am in the process of quitting…AGAIN.
I have quit in the past with the help of medication. This time I wanted to give something else a try. When I was given the opportunity to review the White Cloud Cirrus Electronic Cigarette, I instantly jumped at the chance. And why are we doing this on The Gadgeteer? Well after all, it is an electronic device.
I will say that the Cirrus Electronic Cigarette is not in any way marketed as a “stop smoking” product. However it is marketed as a “healthy” alternative to a regular cigarette. When I say “healthy” I am referring to the fact that these e-cigs do not contain any tobacco, tar or any other preservatives. They don’t even contain smoke. That’s right NO SMOKE! You will see an odorless vapor after taking a drag from the e-cig, and that’s about it.
This product is a great alternative to the real thing. Plus they actually taste good… It’s hard to say exactly what they taste like but to give you an idea, they taste like a very clean cigarette. Even though they do not contain tobacco they do still contain some nicotine (which is actually not the harmful part of a cigarette). So as a smoker you still get the same fulfillment as you would with a regular cigarette. Plus you have your choice of full flavor, lights, menthol, or your choice of multiple different flavors from chocolate to whiskey. That is actually a bigger variety than a cigarette. You still get the sensation of a real cigarette but without the major downfalls of them. Not only can you smoke with a lot less guilt, but you can do it just about anywhere without making most people angry.
Your starter pack comes with…
2 E-cigarette batteries
5 SimpleSmoke cartridges
1 USB charger
1 User manual
That is more than enough to get you started. Considering that one SimpleSmoke cartridge is the equivalent of 40 cigarettes. But before you actually get started you are going to have to charge your cigarette. Now I know that sounds funny but right out of the box they come with about a 90% charge already. So you literally are able to try these out right when you open the box. With your starter kit you actually receive 2 rechargeable batteries(which is the actual long part of the cigarette). Its a good thing that you get two of them because each battery take about 3 hours to charge. With two ou can always make sure you have one charged if the other battery gets too low. If they did not come with two, you would have to make sure you purchase an extra proprietarty USB charger. If and when you need more supplies, you can just go to www.whitecloudcigarettes.com. You will be able to order everything from car chargers to clamshell cigarette cases made specifically for your E-cigarette.
This product is a bit on the pricey side, with a starting cost of $189.99. And that is just for the starter kit. Then you still have to add on the accessories, which can range from $10 to $40 each. And don’t forget that about every time you have to replace the simple smoke cartridges (which come 5 in a pack… so that is the equivalent of a carton). Which in actuality are priced pretty good, at only $19.95. With that said, in the long run, could this product save you money and possibly help you quit all together? Sure! Even if you don’t quit at least it’s a lot less harmful than a regular cigarette.
Has this product help me quit smoking you ask?…Not yet… But at least while I am still smoking I am doing so with a lot less hassle from people around me! So all in all this device is NOT made to get you to quit smoking. So I don’t recommend it for that. On the other hand, if you do continue to smoke, I DO recommend this product purely based on the fact that it is a much “healthier” alternative to a normal cigarette.
So at the end of the day even though this product is on the expensive side, I would still recommend it to anyone out there that is a smoker that is looking for an alternative and looking to get less grief from the people around them. For me, aside form the fact that they are a bit longer than a regular cigarette I personally enjoyed them and I plan to continue using this product. After smoking one of these I did not have the urge at all to smoke a normal cigarette. So when it’s all said and done I am going to continue using them, at least until I totally quit. So dish out the money up front and in the long run it will pay for itself and save you money… So to all of the smokers out there reading this, I would say smoke away and like I said before do it with a lot less guilt.

Holy crap dude thats expensive. And 5 carts is never going to be equal to a carton no matter what they tell you. I got a joye510 with a case which charges it for 30 bucks all told, and a case of 50 carts for 30 more bucks. Be careful where you buy these, prices will vary wildly. Check out e-cigarette-forums.com for reviews of tons of stores and devices. Also if you get a decent device you can easily top off cartridges with a few drops of liquid to significantly extend thier useful life and bring the total cost of use closer to 1/10th the cost of cart.s
Congrats on trying the e-cig. I got one seven months ago and completely switched from tobacco cigarettes (after 30+ years of smoking). Just so you know, there are much, much better deals to be had (you can find starter kits for as little as $40.00), and the cartridges don’t equal nearly what they claim, so most “vapers” buy liquid (at varying strengths of nicotine or no nicotine) and refill their cartridges, which saves a lot of money. The e-cig forums are a good place to learn more. Happy vaping! :o)
Smoking will kill you. Stop smoking now.
Thats exactly what this does. It enables you to stop smoking NOW. I’ve used the patches and pills and everything and was unable to quit. Within a few minutes with this I have been tobacco free for the past month with no issues at all. Buring tobacco with 1000s of additives will kill you. Nicotine inhalation is much like caffine. Addictive, but generally regarded as safe. Please dont encourage people to follow the quit or die mentality, for many people such as myself, we can not simply quit. The addiction is too strong. The personal vaporizer is an excellent option to have.
It is worth mentioning that while the Cirrus is not mentioned here, OTHER e-cigarette models have been found to have hazardous chemicals in them. Please see: http://health.usnews.com/articles/health/healthday/2009/07/22/e-cigarettes-pose-a-health-hazard-fda-warns.html
I’ve tried this product, although it’s expensive, it’s by far the best. It’s completely different than the rest of the junk I’ve wasted money on. Just my .02
If you ignore that they found the chem in only one out of 18 samples, and the chems they found ALSO exist in tobacco cigarettes at levels hundreds of times higher, and that the rest of the chems are generally regarded as safe by the fda and are used in things like food coloring, then yeah, i suppose these are hazardous.
The air we breathe contains toxins … we live in a mollycoddling health & safety society that is more dangerous than ever. The fact is nothing is totally safe … healthy fruit and veg are sprayed with chemicals. My partner and I haven’t smoked a cigarette for four months now … and believe it or not that has deprived the tobacco industry of approx £1600 … yep 2 people four months … multiply that by a few million people … now I wonder if that’s what the anti e-cig brigade is really concerned about … hmmm?
I want to thank everyone for commenting on this post so quickly. And yes you are right, there are some other products out there that are less expensive. But alot of the other products are not as high quality as the cirrus white cloud. And I must say ever since the day I got this thing, I have not put it down for a regular cigarette once!
In response to Andrews comment, there was 1 single cartridge found by the FDA to contain a small amount of diethylene glycol. An independent review of the FDA’s study concluded that the FDA study was inaccurate. You can see a summary of the reports here:
Electronic Cigarettes & Safety
I am militantly anti-tobacco. But this product bothers me for another reason. It reinforces the behavior as well as the addictive, lethal chemical. It creates the idea that the behavior of smoking can somehow be acceptable. If you stop smoking *now*, your body will be free of the addiction within a week. But you will be plagued by the habitual behavior for far longer. And this product feeds into the behavior. I would love if these items were illegal.
Sorry for coming on so strongly, I’m just very excited about the topic. 565 cigs avoided so far thanks to this stuff. Only ever managed to skip half a dozed with other methods of quitting over the decades.
I have no problem with making these illegal, as long as you also outlaw anything else which uses an inhaled vapor such as all asthema medication, as well as all tobacco products, and anything which uses pg which is related somehow to antifreeze (and snowcones) and your should also ban chocolate since it comes from coca beans which reminds me of cocaine. Also dihydrogen monoxide is present in car exhaust, that should probably not be sold in stores. The nicotine is NOT a lethal chemical. It is a drug which has medicinal uses and happens to be addictive. Just like caffine. People drink coffee every day for the caffine. There are some people who drink decaf coffee. Perhaps decaf coffee should be banned, forcing them to use caffinated coffee?
Anything which can shunt people away from the inhalation of the burning embers of a leaf which has been soaked in cyanide and more is in my book a fantastic advancement in human health.
Dang it.. i did it again. Okay, no more posting for me on the internets today. Thanks for the article!
I quit from day one as soon as ai Got an e-cigarette. These are literally a cure for cigarette addiction. So naturally, the government is trying to take them away. Retarded.
I’m sorry man, but I had to comment after you mentioned the price of that e-cig. I don’t care if that thing is made out of solid gold, you got ripped off…ripped off so hard, I’m surprised karma hasn’t kicked in and totaled the city of the guy selling this.
You can buy two of the best e-cigs for $50. You can buy enough juice to last 1000+ cigarettes for less than $10. Just google e cigarette forum and click on the first link you find, or go to e-cigreview.com.
A site for reasonable prices with good quality E-cig kits is http://www.luckestrike.com they also have a smoke for free program.
That model is first generation vaporizer; it is the equivalent of the 8 track tape player. The second generation is equal to, I guess, the CD (we haven’t hit the Ipod level yet).
Go get a Vapor King manual model for $69.50 at:
http://store.vapor4life.com/category_s/1.htm
Several places sell this type (although they may be the only ones with the manual switch). But this new style allows the cartridges to be filled for a night out. The old style requires that you refill constantly; a real hassle. They also leak and are messy and the batteries get flooded and burn out and the atomizer parts are expensive and need to be replaced constantly. Thank God for innovation.

Let adults make their own decisions, please. It’s none of your business.
I have to say I agree with the last comment posted!!!
Let adults make their own decisions… We all have opinions and thats fine but this is an informative gaget review website. This is not a place for certain individuals to come and preach about the way they feel about a certain subject matter. And there was a comment posted by tetsubo… you might want to do some more research about the only ingredient in these devices…NICOTINE…It is actually not harmful to you… yes it is addictive but it is the additives and smoke and tar and everything else that is the disease causing ingrediants. I even sat with my doctor and discussed this product and I and everyone else reading this should listen to the advice of a doctor… and if my doctor tells me that these are potentially not harmful to you,, then guess what, I am going to listen to my doctor!
Again I want to thank everyone for taking the time to read this article. I actually put alot of effort and research into this… Thank you again!
I’m not american – I’m from a country where the e-cig was available well before it got to the US.
I’m completely tobacco-free, only using e-cigs, for 19 months now. At the end of my ‘tobacco-time’ (2-3 packs a day for over 45 years…) I was a starting COPD-patient, with lung-capacity left at only 65%.
After 8 months of using only the e-cig, I was back to more then 95% lung-capacity (after that I didn’t have any more checks, doctor didn’t find that neccessary, I was declared healthy again – so not sure if I got to 100%, but it wouldn’t surprise me).
Just the cold facts of e-cigs… (oh and haven’t seen ANY doctor since, so much for ‘dangerous ingredients’ then eh…)
Following these facts: I spent a fortune less on tobacco. I (and my insurance) also spent a fortune less on all kinds of meds. I also (this time) didn’t spend money on patches, gums or the ‘official’ nicotine-inhalers (because those had all allready proved to not help me at all). Or on chantix (no desire to commit suicide so no-thanks!).
And guess what… look at who are trying to ban the e-cigs? Big Tobacco; Big Pharma; FDA, funded by everyone that has to pay them to be allowed to sell their product when that product belongs to certain categories – so FDA wants to see the e-cig as ‘drug-device’ so that it needs to go through their approval process, so they can then (after recieving it’s heavy donations) not approve of it seeing they get most of their total funding (so influence) from… BP and now BT… (surprising? Naahh…); all the anti-groups that get their funding directly or indirectly from either or both of those two B’s (those groups don’t want to cease to exist themselves, right?) – and all the ‘victims’ who fell to believe their lies and misinformation.
I’m very grateful for having found this device!
Best of luck giving up! however you do it! If it stops you smoking, I’d recommend almost ANY (legalish) substitute over ciggies. E.g. the health problems associated with putting on 20 pounds still pales with the damage of ciggies.
Best of luck again.
PS it occurs to me that expensive remedies may actually be effective Because they are expensive. i.e. if you’ve invested more in giving up, you don’t want to waste that investment.
PPS Churchill said “When you’re going through hell – keep going!” I like that one.
Let adults make their own choices. If these e-cigs don’t pollute then what is the problem? Shall we ban all alcohol becasue of its addictive qualities? Shall we ban coffee? Tea? Chocolate? Exercise? All these can be addictive. As long as my addiction does not affect a 3rd party what is the issue?
I’ve heard so many things about these electronic cigarettes and I’ve got to try them. One person I spoke with said they aren’t as satisfying as a cigarette. I think they wanted the harshness which is probably from the actual smoke and bad stuff that comes with smoking a burning cigarette versus vaporized Nicotine. I’m still trying to quit smoking but maybe at least these things won’t make me feel as guilty.
my mum started smoking at 12, when her doctor told her that it would be good to calm her nerves. She still smokes now, despite trying to quit many times over and despite having been a nurse and worked in a nursing home and she’s seen what happens to people. I think she’s resigned to the fact she can’t quit, though she has cut back alot since she had breast cancer.
She has always been so busy worrying about the rest of us, that I don’t think she sees how worried we get about her, I know that someday she is probably going to die a slow horrible death if she doesn’t have a stroke before then.
Despite all my siblings seeing how she has fought with the addiction for years, 4 out of 5 of us smoke (I’m the exception). Now that I live out of home and away from my friends that all smoke, I find even walking into the room where a smoking office-mate has walked almost makes me gag.
Even if you put aside the health risks, you smokers do realise it smells disgusting right?
Just speaking for myself, no, I didn’t realize it smelled that bad. Not until I quit. I was exposed to cigarette smoke from the time I was conceived. Almost everyone in my family smoked, and most still do. Since I switched to the e-cig, I’m quite frankly horrified that I went around smelling like that for so long.
My husband hasn’t completely given up cigarettes, though e-cigs have helped him to cut down from over a pack a day to 4-10 cigarettes a day. And I’m set on never being one of those ex-smokers who judge current smokers so harshly, so I’d never say anything to anyone about the smell.
But yes, it’s overwhelming when you don’t smoke, and I can’t deny that. Yet another reason I’m so glad to have found the e-cig.
My father used something very similar when he stopped smoking and it worked so well, he went from smoking 10 cigars and a few cigarettes a day to nothing at all ! He smoked for about 25 years and now, he doesn’t smoke at all. I think it’s a great idea and if it gets you away from the addiction of smoking, well I’m all for it! In the UK, packets of cigarettes now have pictures on the box of people with tumours, or a picture of a diseased body part, caused by smoking and this seems to have helped reduce the number of people who smoke. Also, pubs & clubs have now banned smoking and people who wish to light up now need to do it outside and this also seems to have helpded.
A.J. – Good luck and I hope you can soon kick the habit completely!
Jay
Here is another good review I found for this electronic cigarette:

The new Electronic Cigarettes are better quality and unique compared to most brands available a year ago. For example the new electronic cigarettes from Cigana(the leading selling E-cigs) don’t have typical filters. What they do have is cartridges and their instructions say that one Cigana cartridge lasts an estimated 15 cigarettes depending on how you smoke, but they last around 12 to 14 smokes for me. The only reason I wrote this is because the last electronic cigarette I had sucked and lasted maybe 4 smokes per cartridge and stopped working after 5 weeks. Don’t be suckered. That said, I bought mine direct at: http://www.CiganaDirect.com after I found out their cartridges are the longest lasting through my searching the net. Because cartridges can get expensive, some sites say you should change them every two days. others say after five smokes… I’ll stick with Cigana or maybe another leading brand from a smoke shop with a good warrantee. Good Luck
I’ve ordered from the company you’re recommending and had a battery issue. I then asked them for a RMA authorization # to send back the product and they said they wouldn’t be able to do that for me and further told me if they did I would have to pay for shipping and an additiional cost for handling. Wait until you have a problem with a battery with this company and I’m sure you’ll change your tune. I’ll stick with White Cloud Cigarettes any day of the week, I’ve dropped 2 batteries in a puddle of water (fell off my ear while bending over) and they took care of everything and I told them exactly what happened. You get what you pay for.
I read this post when it first came out and ended up getting a Vapor King from Vapor4life.com. Its been a really good experience and I havent touched a reg cig since I got it.
i like the cirrus whitecloud alot and it seems so great but the only real con i am faced with is since i can smoke it anywhere ive been smoking it always and im told its 40 cigarettes in one cartrige but i havent been smoking it as a normal cigarette i carry it around all the time and am constantly smoking on it not excessively too the point of a maniac but alot its the second day ive been smoking on the same cart does anyone have any suggestions or comments on how long it will last or how i can be sure when ive smoked “1” cigarettes worth
well ant, i would assume about the same amount of time it takes to smoke a reg cig, for me that is about 5 minutes..
A.J. you say “And yes you are right, there are some other products out there that are less expensive. But alot of the other products are not as high quality as the cirrus white cloud.”
but I’d like to point out to you that the e-cig you paid $189 (!) for is nothing more than a rebranded KR-808D cartomizer e-cig that is widely available for around $45 for the same kit, which is 2 batteries, 5 or so cartomizers and a charger. Extra cartomizers run about $9 for a 5 pack, and are commonly refilled using standard e-cig juice by users. They are good units, but White Cloud is nothing but a reseller of the KR-808D units. They don’t make them, they just silkscreen their name on them and package them. This is not a guess by me about what it is, it’s known by many what model it is. If you feel better paying their price, well, have fun with that. I’ll take the cheaper one without the advertisement silkscreened on it for a quarter the price.
Basically, in short, you ARE using one of those less expensive products, it’s just had a label slapped on it and sold to you at 4 times the price. Still behind the company that did that to you?
I dont know what your talking about with that kr-808d model but ill tell you with the whitecloud name not only do you get a quality product that last but you get customer service that will take care of any issue that occurs. if u want to buy one overseas then go for it but if u want to buy from a company that imports, distributes and actually backs there product up fully then white cloud is the name to go i love the product and everything they do to satisfy us customers
Studied the e-cigs on the net for 2 months – went with the Vapor4Life. Love them!!!! I quit smoking regular cigarettes in FOUR days!!!! That was after trying EVERYTHING ELSE OUT THERE – patches, gum, hypnosis, pills, – you name it, I tried it. Nothing worked. Forty-four years and 2 packs of cigarettes a day!!!! The first day with my Vapor4Life I smoked 4 regular cigarettes, by day 2 down to 2 cigarettes and did that for the next couple of days. After 4 days I was off the cigarettes completely and haven’t had one in over 6 months!!! I am also now on the lowest nicotine level of the cartomizer (4mg) plus don’t use it nearly as often as I smoked a cigarette!!!! Once you find the flavor you like – you have it made! These may have the manual button (that I didn’t like at first) but the batteries last longer with the manual button!!! You get used to it fairly quickly.
I quit tobacco the day I got an e-cig. After 16 years of smoking 2 packs a day. I’m still using the e-cigs, and I’m already at the lowest level of nicotine. I smell better, I feel better, I have more energy, no more tight chest when I wake up. As for White Cloud, I have one. From my experience, the customer service is less then stellar. There is way better product out there at a much better price point. Check out the KR808, the Joye 510, and many more. Also, check out the e-cig forum before you make a decision.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/
It’s a great bunch of real users posting comments of the products they have tried. I’ve learned a lot from those folks.
I just noticed Criterion’s comments above. Yes, the White Cloud is a glorified KR808 retailing for $40. I didn’t want to come right out and say it, but glad someone did. I ordered one to check. It’s exactly the same. Kind of makes me feel icky inside.
I’ve tried lots of e-cigs before, and I found that the White Cloud ones are primo! I bought a brand new Cirrus II kit from White Cloud, and it was the best thing I could have ever done to kick the cigs to the curb for good. I found a kiosk at a local mall, the guy working was very knowledgeable about e-cigs, and was upfront with me about everything. Yeah people say that the Cirrus I came from a KR-808 battery or whatever, but go ahead and buy one and see if it works with their carts. It probably won’t. I ended up buying the Cirrus II kit which was even more money, but it was so easy to use and incredibly easy to stop smoking regular cigarettes. When my battery needs charged, its about 50-60 min to recharge it, not 3 hours as it was stated in the review. So go ahead and buy a cheap imitation, refill your generic cartridges and see what happens. I’ll stick with my Cirrus, be backed with the warranty and customer service from White Cloud and know that I’m covered.
I have been using the White Cloud cigarettes for about 6 weeks now. My only complaint is that the USB charger that came with my kit failed after 30 days. The mall kiosk switched it out for another USB charger. That charger failed after 2 weeks. The mall kiosk refused to switch it again unless I purchased the $30 extended warranty, otherwise I must mail the charger in for replacement (and the initial warranty on the charger is only 6 months). Who wants to be without a charger for a week or so, given the addictive nature of the product? My husband went ahead and bought another charger, and while he was there, yet another customer showed up and their charger failed after 2 weeks. I have complained to White Cloud customer service, and they deny that there is a problem with the chargers. In all fairness, they did offer to mail me a replacement charger before they received by defective one, but they refuse to offer the convenience of exchanging them at the kiosk. Bad customer relations, if you ask me, especially since there are 2 users in my house and we will buy 6-8 packs of cartridges per month.
Lisa,
I’m sorry that you had a not so good experience with the customer service aspect of things. That us truly unfortunate. I say that because I have never heard a single complaint from anyone in these regards. But I suppose that no company can have a perfect track record. I wish there was something I could do to help. But what I can try to do for you is contact them myself and let you know the outcome.
I thank you for taking the time to read my review.
I had high hope for this product but what a disappointment!!! The vapor is terrible and the product way over price for just the battery! I have to take several small puffs every time to get a descent amount of vapors. The flavor cartridges is not that great tasting, that’s my taste preferences, everyone has their own taste differences. Now I have used several other products such as Smoke51, eSmoke, V2 Cigs, Blu, and another brand that is not very popular to mention. Yes, I’m in search for the best E-Cigs. And I have to say, WhiteCloud is just a waste of money! If you really want to try WhiteCloud e-cigs, this is what you should do, buy V2 cigs affordable low price battery and then purchase WhiteCloud smoke cartridges. Their smoke cartridges will fit V2 cigs’ batteries. This way you buy V2 and WhiteClouds cartridges and just use V2’s batteries. That’s all you need to do to and it will save you 5 times the price! And from my experiences eSmoke has been the best. They produce great vapors and the coffee flavor cartridges is the best! And eSmoke and Smoke51 batteries will work with either of their smoke flavor cartridges. Their batteries are a bit smaller in diameter then WhiteCloud and V2’s. So my recommendation is not to buy WhiteCloud starter kit but just to buy their smoke flavor cartridges if you want to give them a try. If you are long time e-cigs smoker like me…you’ll kick yourself for buying WC’s starter kit! Oh one more thing, the Cirrus II claims that the batteries will quickly charges as fast as 50 minutes…it’s totally not true! It took me over 2 hours, almost the same time as my other batteries brand to fully charge. Take my advise … you won’t regret it But it’ll save you money!
I agreed with Tim’s review. You can buy a cheaper price batteries and use WhiteCloud’s cartridges if you like them so much. And NO I would not pay a 250 dollars price just for just “good” customer’s services. For 250 dollars I can buy at least 5 quality brand batteries that will last quite a while that I really don’t need the customer’s service!
Just got this today and have not wanted a cig since the first vape puff. I am using the vanilla flavor currently, and it is pretty tasty. I would like to rebutt some comments where misinformed people are claiming nicotine is not harmful… Nicotine itself is deadly. There is enough nicotine in an average sized cigar to kill 10 adults. However, when smoking the cigar, the combustion process destroys the majority of the nicotine and only a minute amount ever gets into the bloodstream.
Wow! I cant brlieve the audacity of such idiotic ststements saying nicotine is not harmful. Nicotine has an LD-50 of 0.5mg/kg, meaning as little as 20mg is enough to kill an adult. The author says in a comment that people should do some research about it and how it isnt harmful? Really? What f*cking planet did that complete moron come from? He should do HIS research before publishing such dangerous lies that could very well cause the death of a reader. The LD-50 of CYANIDE is between 100 to 200 mg/kg depending on the type (potassium etc). Meaning it takes 200 to 400 times MORE cyanide to kill a person than nicotine. Yeah… nicotine isnt harmful my ass… This author should be fired and an official statement should be made about his erroneous and false information about the poison known as nicotine that is on average 300x more deadly than cyanide.
I have been using the cirrus 1 and 11 for almost a year now and love it, it is pricey but to me worth it.The main issues I have had has been buying cartridges and some of them have not worked at all, it was like sucking on a blocked straw, and issues with the chargers not working they blink and turn green in about five minutes or stay red or green all the time, I never know if the cig is fully charged or not, I have returned it once and two weeks later that one started messing up, you dont wanna feel like a pain constantly complaining but for what you spend you have a right! so far they have worked with me thru these issues, i havent been back after the last charger i bought, even tho its messing up. Plus they lost all my information on the warranty ect. but all in all i love the cig. one more thing, they shouldnt use ups it takes 5 days for me to get my cartridges when in regular mail it would take three not sure why they do that.
B-E-W-A-R-E !!! WHITE CLOUD CIGARETTES CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. THEY HAVE ONLY A THREE-DAY RETURN POLICY AND NOW MATTER WHAT, THEY WILL NOT BEND THIS RULE. THE PRODUCT IS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE AND THEY WILL NOT HELP. DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU HAVE A RECEIPT OR NOT, THEY DON’T CARE. DON’T BUY UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU WANT TO KEEP THE PRODUCT!
Knowing that my comment on here is insainly late to market (so to speak) For everyone of you that says “they should make a law”, thank you, thank you for helping this government and this world already less free than it already was. infact How about instead of alowing people the freedom to make a choice, you just take them all away… the very idea that someone thinks this product which has gotten me off smokeing, eliminated my endless coughing, and enabled me to breath again is *u*king selfish as hell. How about you just keep-on being angry that people are liveing their life as they see fit, and inturn they wont pass a law against YOU for no reason.
This company is nothing but a ripoff. If you are considering e-cigs, I suggest you try a company who offers a 100% refund in case you find out you don’t like e-cigs or have an allergic reaction like I did. I tried the product, was not impressed with the smoke, and I also found out I am allergic to something in the cartridges. Of course, they are charging me $63.00 for a restocking fee, which seems pretty high since I mailed the product back to them the very next day and I don’t think it will cost them $63.00 to restock the cartridges or anything else in the kit. I wonder what they do with the items they restock, maybe refurbish and sell them as new to other customers. When I was on the phone with customer service they said each battery costs $140.00. And one more thing I would like to mention, the 2 yr warranty that is included with the kit is only a manufacturer’s warranty, it is not the extended 2 yr warranty they sell.
I just bought the cirrus 2 e-cig (white cloud) yes I paid a lot for it the total was 189.00. I have tried other e-cig like n-joy to regal. Didn’t care for them the batteries never lasted and didn’t taste like a real cig. White cloud is by far one of the better one’s. taste like a real cig. Mine came with 2 batteries and if one stops working I take it back and get a new one for free no matter what happens to it. And one cartridge does equal to about 40 cigs. I smoked a pack and a half in a day. since I started using white cloud a cartridge last me 2 days. Like I said its price is but wroth it. Most local malls sell them in a booth. They will let you try them for free as Long as you want. like I said taste like a real cig. Worth checking out.
Just to let you all know, there are deals that can be had if you purchase online from White Cloud. search for the discounts. I used a discount code for 30% yesterday and saved $72.99 for my kit. by the way, if you purchase the 3X, which is the most expensive (and they are!) and has the longest lasting battery, you get 5 packs of 5 cartridges (25 cartridges), which was a good selling point for me.
When I went looking for an ecigarette, I was prompted by a workplace policy that prevented smoking on site–I mean within two miles, not in your car if its in the lot–nothing. Naturally I flipped out–I tried so many of the brands, the ones in the gas stations, the liquid ones, some blue garbage, and then I found white cloud. At first, the investment seemed steep compared to other brands, but in this case, I found you REALLY do get what you pay for. I couldnt find something that satisfied every physical dependency I had on cigarettes, either I couldnt feel the burn, I couldnt see the vapor, or the taste wasnt dirty enough. This hit every spot. So I bought it just for use at work about two years ago. Id take my little pack of nic-fix with me in the morning and light up right after my shift was over–well after I was well off the lot. I’m not sure when it happened, but eventually I stopped going for the real ones after work, the nicotine fix was such that, I didnt even crave one. Over about a year, I completely stopped smoking the real
things. I cant even stand the smell of one. I feel so much better, I smell so much better, and I try to tell everyone about this-dont
look at it like you are trying to quit–you set yourself up for failure–look at it as someone trying to lose weight does a slim fast–something to tide you over until you can pick up the chocolate shake.–eventually, you forget all about it. Its the best thing I never meant to stick with. Now I just pray they NEVER go out of business. Ever.
Hey guys! I work for white cloud! I just wanted to let you all know the prices have dropped! They are now as follows:
C3x: 249.95. By far my personal favorite! Lasts me all day and I never put the thing down!
Variety kit: 189.95. Has one of each battery, absolutely perfect for the person who want the best battery on the market, but less than 200 to spend on the 3x, since the 3x comes with!
C3: 149.95. It’s the size of a cigarette, at least the closest out there. More discreet, but doesn’t last as long.
C2: 99.95! The best value we have!
If you have any questions feel free to ask! I smoked them for a year before I started working here – by far the best option around!
Now, for people worried about the health risks – we tell you what’s in it. Nicotine, water, and mpg. Mpg is propylene glycol. It’s a food additive! We use it because it doesn’t harm the human body. Some of the competitors use antifreeze because it’s a cheap glycol. Unfortunately, they aren’t required to tell you what’s in it. There has to be a glycol for ecigs to work, so research ANY brand, and of they don’t tell you the ingredients – don’t use it.
Also, cartridges are now 15.95 😀
After learning my husband developed adult asthma, his pulminologist recommended the cloud cigs which we bought and have been very happy with ever since. We lucked out with a kiosk in a mall nearby and although the starter kit was pricey, a “carton” only costs $11. How’s that for a slice of fried gold?
And as for the ignoramus who hates smokers and doesn’t like the ecig because “it looks like a regular cigarette” – piss off! You have no idea how hard it is to quit and having a bunch of jackasses such as yourself spewing hatred rather than support makes it that much harder. Our doctor recommended this and we’re happy with the decision. So get a life and harass something worthwhile like the westboro baptist church…
White Cloud cust service person Tricia is a b***h she gave me an attitude when I called with questions I ordered nicotine free and they sent me the regular can’t afford to send back and I have asthma am w/o transportation so I can’t try to exchange them at mall on positive side their Cirrus II starter kit is now $60 down from $100 guess I will be getting hooked on nicotine again thanks to packer that that can’t read
Just got my White Cloud E cigs. They shipped promptly as promised. All I can say is wow. These smokes are excellent. I got the regular and vanilla both flavors are nice. I previously had an N Joy kit and those were terrible. Absolutely no comparison to the White Cloud. I thank Smokenjoey for the great reviews that sent me to White Cloud
I don’t know where you bought your e-cig at but you got ripped off. For my starter kit I only paid 65 dollars at the stand in the mall and it came with 2 batteries a charger and two 5 packs of the cartridges. So I’d go get a refund if I was you. I agree that it doesn’t help quit smoking but it does make you not want to smoke a real cigarette. I’ve been on this for a little less then a month and I’ve had 1 cigarette and that was just to see the difference. The e cig is not exactly the same but the taste is way better and made the cigarette taste like shit.
