Dime x Timex T80 Watch 7Montreal-based brand Dime has linked up with Timex and UK retailer END Clothing for a new take on the classic T80 digital watch. The result is a gift set that wraps the T80 in a studded stainless steel bracelet and pairs it with a second leather strap — all for $229 USD.

The Dime x Timex T80 Presented by END dropped on April 11, 2026. It’s already running low on Timex’s website. The watch is also listed on Dime’s site and through END Clothing for $249 USD.

Timex calls the collaboration a meeting of “the digital heritage of our T80 watch” with “a harder edge.” Timex’s blog describes the T80 as a watch that “has always been about doing one thing well: telling time.” This release keeps that foundation but changes what you see on the outside. Timex, which was founded in 1854, has more than 170 years of watchmaking behind it.

What Three Brands Built Into One Watch

The collaboration keeps the T80’s 34mm stainless steel case and quartz digital movement unchanged. A quartz digital movement uses a battery-powered quartz crystal to keep time, displaying it on a digital screen. Instead of reworking the platform, Dime focused on the cosmetic details that set this version apart from the standard T80.Dime x Timex T80 Watch 5

A black mask frames the digital display with both Timex and Dime branding on the face, and a customized INDIGLO logo sits below the screen. Timex’s blog post describes the dual branding as giving the watch a look “unlike any T80 you’ve seen.”

The main design change is the bracelet. Timex describes it as a “studded stainless-steel bracelet,” which pairs with the polished silver-tone case to give the T80 what the brand calls “a harder edge.” The case itself is made from stainless steel that Timex says is “highly resistant to rust, corrosion, and tarnish” and hypoallergenic, meaning it’s less likely to cause skin reactions. The bracelet uses a quick-release design — according to Timex, “there are no tools required to remove the spring bars,” so straps can be swapped in seconds.

Timex’s blog describes the watch as “slightly more bad ass than the OG,” while still keeping all the features of the original T80. The post sums up the design approach: “This is not a reinvention of the T80 — it’s a Timex that’s been through a few things. Still functional. Still reliable.”

A Gift Set With Two Straps

The gift set includes two straps: the studded steel bracelet and a natural leather strap also lined with silver studs, fitted with quick-release spring bars. Timex’s blog describes the setup as giving buyers “two distinct ways to wear it.”Dime x Timex T80 Watch 8

Both straps use an 18mm lug width, which means third-party straps are also compatible. The steel bracelet uses a jewelry-style clasp, while the leather strap offers a different feel and look from the same watch. The quick-release system on both straps lets the wearer switch between them without any tools.

Timex highlights the quick-release feature on its product page, describing it as a way to “refresh your look in seconds with endless strap options” beyond the two included in the set.

Under the Hood

Under the case, the T80’s specs are unchanged. The quartz digital movement runs on a CR2016 battery and includes a chronograph, daily alarm, and day/date display on the LCD screen. Timex’s product page lists INDIGLO backlighting as a key feature — the backlight technology, which the company developed in the early 1990s, illuminates the full dial at the push of a button.

The watch features a mineral crystal lens (per Timex’s specs) and is rated for 30 meters of water resistance. According to Timex, that level is “suitable only for hand-washing or accidental splashes of water” and is “not suitable for swimming or diving.”

The case measures 34mm wide and 10mm thick, keeping the T80’s traditionally compact proportions. The case finish is polished, and the overall color scheme is silver-tone across both the case and the steel bracelet.Dime x Timex T80 Watch 3

Timex’s product listing highlights the stainless steel construction as a durability feature, with Timex saying the stainless steel is capable of “ensuring your watch remains in excellent condition over time.” The company also describes the mineral crystal as “a toughened glass made from silica that’s heat- and scratch-resistant, offering clear visibility and solid everyday durability.”

The watch comes with Timex’s standard one-year limited manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Optional extended protection is available through Extend at checkout on Timex’s website.

Timex’s blog highlights the INDIGLO backlight as useful “if you’re still skating after dark” — a reference to the watch’s nighttime visibility.

The Bottom Line

Timex has been busy. In recent weeks, the brand dropped the $259 Q Timex NASA Watch honoring the Apollo 17 mission just as Artemis II returned from the Moon, introduced the Deepwater Arctic with sapphire crystal for under $300, added a titanium bracelet option to the Expedition Pioneer GMT, and released a $385 solar-powered Expedition with a milspec makeover. The Dime x Timex T80 Presented by END. adds a fashion-forward collab to that run, showing that Timex is pushing new releases across price points and categories at a pace that’s hard to ignore.
