NITOWOLF Candle warmer lamp review

REVIEW – One of my favorite things is walking into my house and having it smell like a delicious cookie, pumpkin spice, or apple pie. Having six kids can start to smell…. strange… I have owned candle warmers previously, but would forget to turn them on, or off, and would frequently need to replace everything. The NITOWOLF candle warmer lamp has many fun features that keep my house safe and smelling great.

Design and features

I thoroughly enjoy having a candle going in my house. However, there is always something that keeps me from having the joy of the smells. Sometimes it’s a burnt out bulb, or broken lamp. Other times I just don’t want to light a fire with so many unknown variables running around my house, aka children. The NITOWOLF candle warmer lamp is a great design with multiple features that can help bring the joy of burning candles, but also keep things on the safe side.

The ability to put on a timer has been a safety feature that has saved me a lot of worry. I no longer have to remember if I turned it on or off when I leave the house or go to bed. This lamp also has the ability to adjust the brightness. There are three different levels of warmth. There have been times that I will turn on a candle warmer, and the smell becomes overwhelming. I don’t need the whole neighborhood to know that I have a candle going, even if it does smell delicious. Thankfully, I’ve discovered that if I put the warmer on a long timer and dim the lamp to the lowest setting there is a nice balance. There is just enough of a scent to make my house smell amazing, but last longer and doesn’t feel too artificial. Plus, I don’t have to think about turning it off or wasting electricity, thanks to the built-in timer.

Another of the fun features about this candle warmer is the ability to change the distance between the bulb and the candle. You can raise and lower the stand at least two inches. I haven’t found a candle that I own that is too tall, and the lowest height can still reach the small wax melts I have. I have a lot of little wax tarts, or melts, and went to the dollar store to find lots of options for glass bowls, or vases, or plates. Basically anything that won’t melt, or burn down the house, and that I can melt them in. Another thing that I like about this candle lamp versus a candle warmer that I have used previously, is that it melts from the top down. The aroma is almost instantly apparent, and I don’t have to wait for everything to melt. This also calms my mom fears. I used to get so worried about the jar being pulled over, and since it warmed from the bottom to the top, it was full of hot wax. No one wants to think of a hot wax accident. It was bad enough to just clean it off of the counters. I’m not saying this candle warmer takes away all of the risks, but I do feel that melting a candle this way is a lot better than before.

The unit comes with everything put together and ready to use, except for the bulb. However, the bulb is very easy to install, even though it isn’t the screw in style, it is very easy to push into the appropriate location. This unit also comes with two bulbs for when your first one dies in the distant future. Plus it all comes in a cute little package that just looks like a lamp, and will fit in with all your home decor.

Final thoughts

As far as candle warmers go, I really like this one. I feel that it has more safety features and makes using it as easy as possible. I think for any of the long term areas in my house that I want to smell good, I will stick with a wall plug in, but for a boost, and some extra festive scents, this is definitely a winner. Plus, bulbs are pretty inexpensive when it comes time to replace them.
