REVIEW – I never seemed to like how my studio was put together with the cheap furniture that I purchased including 3 cheap desks one of which was always front and center in many of my videos playing its part as the low-budget-looking prop. Recently I have been working on upgrading all of my gear including the cameras, mics, etc. Now it is time for the furniture to get a more fitting sleek and possibly executive look. The Eureka Ark X Executive Standing Desk has a matte leather insert and a nicely constructed border made of some type of wood. There is a pop-up USB hub with a wireless charge and touch buttons for adjusting the height of the desk and connecting the app via WiFi. On the front, there are 3 drawers.
Assembly, Installation, Setup
The first part of assembling the Eureka Ark X Executive Standing Desk involved uncrating the desktop which was shipped separately from the legs. The wooden crate that protected the desktop weighed more than the desktop itself. I had to remove the crate in my front yard before moving the cardboard box with the desktop into my house. I did bring the legs inside while they were in the original box. Both were quite heavy. I unpacked everything in my living room and then moved the desktop and then the legs into my office which is not a large space. It took me approximately 2 hours to assemble the Eureka Ark X 60×26 Executive Standing Desk. I did take my time, and I also made sure that I read the instructions for each step several times. Performance
The Eureka Ark X Executive Standing Desk scores very high in the performance category, starting with how it is packed for delivery. The seriously robust crate that surrounds the desk and the well-padded box that safeguards the legs provide a very impressive first impression. While the desk is heavy and would be easier to assemble if worked on by 2 people, I was able to assemble it by myself. All of the required tools are included and the exact bolts and nuts needed are packaged in sets with letter labels that match the lettering required for assembly. All parts are labeled and fit without issue. The bolts and screws are the right size to ensure a solid construction that will likely last for many years. The fit and finish of the desk surfaces are impeccable and the leather inset on the model I have is attractive and simply well done. The control button controls work well and are responsive, and the movement of the desk both up and down is smooth and jitter-free. The built-in pop-up USB hub with a wireless charger is a great feature that allows me to charge all that I need without using additional surge protectors. The 3 drawers on the front are not large but sizeable enough to hold all that I need without allowing me to store too much junk. The drawer pulls are attractive and match the decor of the desk. The design of the legs also adds to the overall look.
The following is a feature I especially like since my wife uses a standing desk that lacks this feature and this has created a dangerous situation on multiple occasions:

This is a critical feature since I was hurt before by a standing desk that squeezed my fingers and kept compressing them.
App:
The Eureka app is great because it allows me to move the desk without using the buttons on the desk. The app is easy to find in the Google Play Store but not so easy in the iOS App Store. Eureka is a popular name, and the related apps’ names are misleading. I chatted with Eureka online and they sent me a QR Code for the correct iOS app. The Android and iOS apps are very easy to set up and worked
immediately without any issues.

Final thoughts
The Eureka Ark X Executive Standing Desk is a well-built, sleek, and attractive desk that embodies the concept of executive, The inlaid leather is beautiful and the fit and finish are spectacular. The movement is fluid and the app control is a nice bonus. Its design is very well executed and is the perfect piece of furniture that takes my office to another level.
