REVIEW – Devices in my house seem to be multiplying as my kids get older and the mix of phones, tablets, e-readers, and batteries continues to grow. The Orico 120W Charging Station popped up and looked like a great way to corral at least some of that chaos, so I decided to give it a try. Read more to see how it did!

Design and features
The ORICO 120W 10-port charging station is super simple. It provides ten USB-A ports and a corresponding slot to store a thin device. Installation consists of finding a good spot on the counter and plugging in the included power cable.
Performance
By only providing a maximum output of 5V 2.4A at each port, this doesn’t qualify as a fast charger by most standards I saw. That said, for a station where you plan on storing a device or leaving it overnight, it more than meets the need. The power station does not come with USB cables, so until I buy a pack of 10 short USB-A to USB-C cables, I’m going to have a hodge-podge of different cables. They work, but they’re not very pretty.
Even loaded with devices, the station stayed cool and there were no issues. Again, this is a pretty simple product.
What I like about the Orico 120W Power Station
- It’s great to have a single place for most of the devices that were scattered around before
- It looks clean and doesn’t take up a lot of counter space
- Most devices fit great in the slots
What needs to be improved?
- Provide short charging cables!
- Fast charging would be a nice option, even if it’s just a few of the ports. Not a huge deal because most devices are stored there overnight and when they’re not in use.
- If you have a chunky case on your phone, it may not fit well. A few slots that are a little wider to accommodate some of the thicker devices might be nice
Final thoughts
The ORICO 120W 10-port charging station is a great little organizer and space saver. Even if it would have been nice to have included some extra cables, it’s not a deal-breaker. It has helped cut down the counter clutter and is a nice addition. I would definitely get this again.
