REVIEW – I’m a fan of stick vacuums. I’m not a fan of how filthy they are to empty and clean. No matter how careful you are when emptying them, dust and dirt get everywhere. The Tineco Pure One Station FurFree Smart Vacuum is a stick vacuum that doesn’t have that issue. It actually cleans itself. I had the opportunity to test one out recently. Did it solve the filth issue? Let’s look at the Tineco Pure One Station FurFree Smart Vacuum.

The Tineco Pure One Station FurFree is a stick vacuum with a Smart Self-Clean System. The vacuum features PureCyclone Tech, a ZeroTangle brush, Smart App integration, and more. The FurFree Kit gently detangles and smooths pet hair without harm and efficiently vacuums the removed hair.

Design and features
The Tineco Pure One Station FurFree Smart Vacuum has an aesthetically pleasing design with clean lines, chrome accents, full-color digital displays, and a well-designed dock (OmniHub) that holds all the vacuum’s accessories, giving it a relatively small footprint.
OmniHub Clean Station
The OmniHub Clean Station acts as the home base for the vacuum. The Hub has three parts: the upper charging port, the dustbin module, and the docking base. It also acts as the vacuum charging station.
The OmniHub features a full-color digital display and a 3L bagless dustbin. The dustbin can hold up to 60 days’ worth of dust and dirt before needing emptying.
There’s a HEPA filter located on the back of the OmniHub. The filter also comes with a scented disk that fits inside the filter.
The Docking base holds the vacuum and has storage for all its accessories, including a 2-in-1 crevice tool, a cleaning tool, and a mini power brush.
Vacuum
The Tineco Pure One Station Furfree Series Smart Vacuum Cleaner consists of three parts: the main unit, the vacuum tube, and the Zero-Tangle Power Brush. The main unit is small and lightweight, weighing just 2.69 pounds. The power button is located on the inside of the handle.
The Max Mode Button and HEPA filter are on the unit’s top. The cap for the filter is magnetic, making it easy to remove the filter when it needs cleaning. The dustbin is located on the bottom of the main unit.
The PureOne Stations full-color digital display shows relevant information in real time.
The Zero-Tangle Power Brush features a tangle-free brush designed to clean hair without getting it tangled. The brush roller can be easily removed when the housing needs to be cleaned.
The Power Brush also features an LED headlight to help illuminate hidden debris.
Assembly and charging
Assembling the PureOne Station couldn’t be easier. The three pieces of the OmniHub snap together without hardware or tools.
Tineco recommends charging the vacuum 4-5 hours before the first use. I assembled the vacuum and placed it into the OmniHub. While on the charger, the vacuum’s full-color digital display shows 5 flashing green dots indicating charging.
When they stop flashing, the vacuum is fully charged. Tineco states that the battery will run up to 60 minutes in AUTO Mode and 15 minutes in MAX mode. Of course, these times will vary depending on your home environment.
Time to start vacuuming. The vacuum has two power modes, AUTO and MAX. The vacuum will start in AUTO mode by default. You can switch to MAX mode by pushing the corresponding button. When powered on, the display shows the battery level, power mode, and the Dust Monitoring Loop. The Pure One Station has an iLoop Sensor. The sensor detects dirt to optimize suction power for thorough cleaning and extended runtime. The Dust Monitoring Loop changes color depending on the amount of dirt detected. The vacuum can clean various surfaces, including carpeting, hardwood, and more. The video shows the vacuum in action. Note: The audio in the video makes the vacuum sound much louder than in person.
The first thing that struck me was how light (2.69 lbs) and quiet (78dB(A)) the Pure One Station is. So much so, in fact, that I wondered if the vacuum was even doing anything. But looking at the dustbin after a few minutes showed that it certainly was. You could also hear the change in suction power as the iLoop Sensor detected different amounts of dirt. The vacuum’s LED headlight does a great job illuminating hidden debris, especially under furniture. Tineco uses PureCyclone Tech, which separates air and dust to prevent clogging and ensures strong suction.
Tineco states that the Pure One Station can handle particles as large as 3-5 mm. To test this, I dumped a cup of Cheerios onto the floor. As you can see in the video below, the vacuum had little issue picking up the cereal.
OmniHub Clean Station
Now that the dustbin was full of dog hair and cereal, it was time to test the OmniHub Smart Self-Cleaning System. After placing the vacuum in the OmniHub, it automatically detects the amount of dirt in the dustbin and runs the proper cleaning cycle. There are 3 cycles: Quick Mode (30s), AUTO Mode (45s), and Deep Cleaning Mode (60’s). It then cleans every part of the vacuum – brush, tube, dustbin, and filters. The Hub’s 5-stage filtration system captures up to 99.97% of dust and debris as small as 0.3 μm during self-cleaning.
I love the convenience of stopping vacuuming when the dustbin gets full, placing it onto the OmniHub, and returning to vacuuming within a minute with a clean device. No fuss, no muss – my hands stay clean while I clean. The video below shows the OmniHub in action.
Overall, I was highly impressed with the Pure One Station vacuum and OmniHub Smart Self-Cleaning Station. The vacuum is lightweight, quiet, and cleans, as well as any other stick vacuum I’ve used. The OmniHub over delivered IMO. It’s easy to use and does an excellent job cleaning the entire vacuum. Additionally, its Hepa filter filled the whole room with a surprisingly pleasant cucumber scent. The only minor issue it had was cleaning out longer hairs that became tangled in the dustbin’s filter. My simple solution was to flip the vacuum over, open the dustbin, and use the cleaning tool to knock the hair loose. Problem solved.
Attachments
The Pure One Station has 2 attachments: a 2-in-1 crevice tool and a mini power brush. Each can be used with the wand or attached directly to the vacuum. The mini power brush is perfect for cleaning up small spills and removing dog hair from furniture. The crevice tool is ideal for cleaning hard-to-reach areas and narrow crevices. Both attachments worked well, especially with the vacuum in MAX Mode.
FurFree Kit
The FurFree Kit is a pet grooming tool that hooks up to the Pure One Station. It consists of a long flexible tube and grooming brush attachment. I tried using it on my 6-month-old Frenchie puppy Cooper, but as you can see, he wanted nothing to do with it. As an alternative, I tested it on a Faux fur pillow. It seemed to work well, pulling some hair off and then disposing of the collected hair. In addition, it comes with a handy storage bag. In conclusion, I think it would work well, especially on long-haired dogs.
Tineco App
The Pure One Station has Smart App integration. The app can be downloaded from the App Store, Google Play, and Tineco Official Site. The app allows you to track your cleaning progress, run the self-cleaning cycle, check filter status, and more. The app has a clean interface and is easy to use. Here are some screenshots from the Tineco app.

Final thoughts
At the start of this review, I asked, ” Did it solve the filth issue?” The answer is a resounding YES! The Tineco Pure One Station FurFree Series Smart Vacuum Cleaner is a stick vacuum that solves the filth issue with its clean station that cleans the vacuum from top to bottom, keeping your hands, clothes, and lungs clean. It works as well or better than any other stick vacuum I’ve used. I recommend it if you want a stick vacuum without the filthy cleanup and it’s within your budget.

Is the battery user replaceable or do I have to dispose of the unit like I had to with my previous tineco floor cleaner?
Hey JP, I don’t believe the battery is replaceable, but I honestly don’t know. This is the Tineco customer service line 1-855-292-8864. I suggest calling them to get a definitive answer to your question.
