NEWS β Five years ago we told you about the Claw keychain tool designed to let you pop open your favorite beer. Malboro & Kane have a new version that theyβve named the Claw 2.0 and this time itβs a multi-tool. At about 1.5 inches long, itβs not as tiny as the original, but itβs bigger and better than the original with extra functionality. This titanium tool will let you slice open boxes of new EDC gear that youβve ordered, pry things open, tighten screws, turn 1/4β³ and 1/6β³ Hex bits, scrape off lottery tickets, and pop open a cold one. Hey, itβs even TSA friendly! You can buy one directly from Malboro & Kane for $39 or save $10 and get one for just $29 from Amazon.

I don’t think the bottle opener will have enough leverage to open a bottle cap. My Keyport MOCA has a slightly longer body for the bottle opener and I find it hard to use.
I think it would be doable if you used a keychain for extra leverage. Maybe… Not sure though as I never need to open a bottle with any bottle opener π
I have the original Claw, and itβs a little tricky to get a bottle open but it works. As Julie mentions, using whatever ring itβs attached on to help with leverage is necessary. If the tiny original can get a bottle open Iβd have no concerns about this one personally!
I guess some people still carry key-chains in this day and age… I haven’t had one in many years what with pretty much everything I have (including my car) being smart driven… Thus, I have no idea where I would put it.
