NEWS – I’ve become a fan of notebooks for work note-taking and journaling, and I’ve started to try to branch out from the brands I’ve typically used. During a search for a new work notebook, I found Northbooks. They are made-in-USA and have a few features that make them somewhat unique.
As with many notebook makers, they offer a wide range of sizes, page types, covers, and other product variations, but the style that most piqued my interest is depicted here. This style of Northbooks notebook uses high-quality paper (fountain pen compatible) with a slim, sturdy cover, is available in multiple sizes and page formats (including plain, ruled, grid and dot, and all pages are numbered), and has an exposed spine with special stitching binding that allows for a 180-degree lay-flat design.
I particularly like their lay-flat design and that they offer a notebook with grid-style pages. A single notebook of this style is $13.99 and 3-packs are $31.99. Check out GoNorthbooks.com or Amazon to order.

I am so glad more companies are making their journals with numbered pages.

Same here, Doug. For me, it makes them more convenient to use for work purposes, but even for journaling and jotting it is useful.
