Amazon announced today that its voice-activated personal assistant, Amazon Echo, is now available to everyone. Previously, you needed an invitation to buy the device.

The Echo uses Amazon’s cloud-based voice service, Alexa, to instantly provide information, answer questions, play music, read the news, and more. You can also use the Echo to control external devices, such as WeMo switches and lights or Philips Hue lights.

The Amazon Echo is sells for $179. 99 and will be in stock on July 14, 2015.
