Most air filters are designed to clean the air in an entire room, but the Satechi USB Portable Air Purifier and Fan cleans your personal space at home or in the office. When collapsed (bottom, left image), the fan “removes ultrafine particles to provide a clean personal environment. Unpleasant odors are removed, as well as small particles such as dust, pet dander, allergens such as pollen, and other debris.” When you open it up (upper, right image), the Satechi works as a fan to circulate the air without filtering. The device is small (4.3″ X 4.3″ X 3.5″, 12 ounces) enough to take with you in your gear bag for use at the office or in hotel rooms.
