Though this may look like a Swiss Army knife, it’s actually a compact way to carry your charging cables.  Instead of blades, the Multi-Tool Adapter has cables: a microUSB, miniUSB, and Apple 30-pin connector for plugging into your device, and a USB connector to plug into your computer or a wall charger.  You’ll notice that it can also be used as a horizontal or vertical stand for your phone, and there’s a compartment to safely store a SIM card.  The Multi-Tool Adapter is available from Allputer for $7.95.

  2. Darn it! You’re right, Andrew. I had searched to be sure there was no post for Multi-tool Adapter, and there wasn’t. I tried “knife charger” after I saw your comment just now, and that found it. Turns out the item in the original post didn’t seem to have the phone stand and SIM card holder, and there’s the small problem that the original charger isn’t available because the vendor is out of business.

(I’m trying to cover for my accidental duplication. How am I doing? 😉 )

  3. You are doing splendidly. But sadly I was referring to the episode of the Simpsons in Australia. I attempted to find a clip on the inter-webs but it would appear that the copyright legally people successfully removed it. You are still “safe” on postings. WINK WINK

  4. Oh my goodness Andrew! I thought the same thing!

That’s not a knife! This is a knife! (holds up the above charging knife thing)

    I see you’ve played Knifey-Charger before!
