Kyte&Key Cabelet

Although I will admit that I am not much of a fashionista, I have been known to investigate and dabble in new fashion trends. One of trends that has been going around for a few years now is dual-purpose bracelets. Most of them I have seen or that interest me have been “survival’ bracelets, usually made out of Paracord with various attachments in or on them. But what happens when you want something a little more fashion forward, a little more everyday practical? The Cabelet from Kyte & Key is one interesting answer. Basically the Cabelet is a Lightning or microUSB cable wrapped inside a braided leather wrist band with a metal clasp to secure and protect the cable ends. Simple, practical, and functional – all major pluses to a gadget junkie like me. Both types of Cabelets come in four color choices and three available sizes. For $69.99 from the Kyte & Key website, you can go from trend watcher to trend setter with a purpose.

  2. @Joel Who can put a price on being a fashion icon? But in all honesty it may be a little pricey but I would have to check the quality before i could come to that conclusion…

  3. @Larry – Nice find! I often find myself needing my charge, usually when I am sitting in meetings with my laptop which would be a perfect opportunity to use the laptop’s USB port to charge my phone. The price is quite excessive–high quality or not–but that doesn’t mean it would not be useful. Plus, it looks cool. 🙂

  4. Has anyone bought one and worn it? Are you happy with it? Does it stay securely on your wrist– not come a off accidentally — until you are ready to use it?
