The LYNKtec TruGlide Pro Precision Stylus is a stylus with interchangeable tips. It can switch from having a traditional style tip to a paintbrush tip with actual bristles. LYNKtec sent me the TruGlide Pro Precision Stylus & Paintbrush Tip Bundle which includes both tips and a handy storage tin. Let’s take a quick look.
Note: Images can be clicked to view a larger size.
You can purchase the TruGlide Pro Precision Stylus on its own without the paintbrush tip for $29.95 and then buy the paintbrush tip for $14.95, but you’re better off buying the bundle which includes the paintbrush tip and the storage tin for $39.95 (you save $4.95). The tin has slots for the TruGlide with the regular stylus tip attached or the paintbrush tip attached and separate slots for the artist paintbrush tip or the regular tip.
Without the paintbrush tip installed, the TruGlide Pro looks like a regular capacitive stylus. It has a nicely balanced metal barrel and a pocket clip.
The 5mm microfiber tip may look different than the typical black rubber tips we find on most styluses, but it feels the same when in use. It is spongy like rubber stylus tips and to me, feels no different on a touch screen.
The real news here is that you can unscrew the regular tip and swap it out with the paintbrush tip to turn the TruGlide into a paintbrush stylus.
The brush tip is made of conductive organic and synthetic fibers, and is tapered to provide a traditional paintbrush experience with your tablet. I have tried other paintbrush styluses in the past (see related reviews below) and find this one to be comparable to the Sensu stylus. It has a very nice brush tip that is both soft and flexible, but keeps its shape. It’s really fun to use it with apps like Procreate (iOS) and choose the wet brush option. It gives a very realistic painting feel.
If you’re a digital artist looking to add a paintbrush stylus to your toolbox, the LYNKtec TruGlide Pro Precision Stylus & Paintbrush Tip Bundle is a quality stylus at a decent price.

I have this stylus and love it! My personal stylus journey: I first bought a stylus by Targus as an impulse buy at Best Buy. It worked ok, and I liked having a stylus to use with my iPad. Then, I heard good things about the Wacom Bamboo stylus, so I tried that. Also ok, but the rubber tip was kind of skippy. After seeing the TruGlide Pro stylus in MacLife Magazine this summer, the small, fiber tip caught my attention. So I ordered it from Lynktec.com, and now the TruGlide Pro is the only stylus I use!
I have been using TruGlide styluses for a few months with total satisfaction and was browsing their website one day and saw the attachment combo pack. I decided to look up some reviews on it for my dad (as he uses his iPad as a graphic artist for sketches and such). So after seeing all the positive reviews, I got the whole set for him and he absolutely loved it. He said that he has been able to paint precisely and it also has great sensitivity to the screen when being used as just a regular stylus.
I love this stylus and what is amazing is the screwable tips so you can easily switch them out! LYNKtec is awesome!
