It was 20 years ago when Bill Nye introduced his PBS TV show that taught kids about science. His show may be off the air now, but your kids can still learn from him with the newly introduced app for iPhone and iPad. The Bill Nye the Science Guy app is free in the iTunes App Store; it’s a universal app that will work with all iOS devices. Kids (rated 4+) can sit at Bill’s desk and explore. There are games to play, experiments to try at home, and even clips to watch from Bill’s show. Kids will have so much fun, they won’t even know they’re learning. Hopefully this app will spark a love of the sciences in the next generation of Science Gals and Guys!

Honey, I shrank the Predicta! What’s up with the miniature Predicta TV on Bill’s desk? The Holiday model shown (http://www.mztv.com/holiday.html) was a 21″ CRT and would have taken up a substantial portion of the desk in real life.
I own a “Princess” model (http://www.mztv.com/princess.html), which was slightly smaller at 19″, but still has a large footprint.
@doseas Bill’s desk actually looks like an old Formica and chrome dining table. Maybe the Predicta is normal size and the desk is just really big.
P.S. I’d kill for a floor model Predicta, especially the Continental. I could live with the blonde Penthouse, though.
