Logitech has announced that their award-winning Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad 2 and the new iPad is now available in pure white. The Bluetooth keyboard serves as a protective screen cover when not in use. Magnets in the cover connect to magnets in the iPad to keep the cover securely in place; they also work with the iPad’s sleep/wake function to wake your iPad as you remove it from the keyboard cover. Not only does the physical keyboard speed up your typing, but the iPad function keys make editing – select, cut, paste, undo – faster. Logitech says you’ll get six months of battery life between charges, based on an average of two hours use per day. The keyboard cover is made of aluminum, and you can add free engraving to the back to personalize or identify it as yours. It’s $99.99 at Logitech.

is this a full-sized keyboard? – or slightly smaller???
@joel perlish This is just a news item; I haven’t seen one in person to do a full review. I don’t know if it’s full-sized, sorry.
No, it’s not a full size keyboard. I bought one, and returned it after about two days. I prefer the Apple keyboard to this one. Since I wasn’t using the Logitech as a cover, it was more awkward to transport in my bag, and with the back shield on my 3rd gen iPad, it wouldn’t sit in the Logitech properly. It was a nice keyboard, just wasn’t for me.
