Digital cameras are convenient. They allow you to instantly see your photos, so you’re always sure you got the image you wanted. But what many photographers find lacking with digital cameras is the character that film imparted to their pictures. If you are nostalgic for the look of film photography but don’t want to give up your digital camera, try DxO FilmPack 3 editing software. You can choose from 60 film renditions, and you can combine films or add filters for a custom look. With FilmPack 3 editing software, you can “reproduce the softness of a Fuji Reala™ film for your portraits, the charm of a Polaroid, or the famous Kodak Tri-X™ grain.” DxO works on Windows and Mac computers, and it can even act as a plug-in for certain photo-editing programs. You can download the trial version or buy the Essential Edition for $79 or the Expert Edition for $129.

You should also check out Silver Efex Pro 2 … Gives fantastic flexibility when converting digital to black and white. Feels very “darkroomy”.
I use the Aperture plugin but I think you can get it for Photoshop and Light Room.
It’s a really nice addition to the aperture workflow
I use Alien Skin Exposure 3. It adds grain and other old film looks that Photoshop simply cannot.
