The Gadgeteer’s HP Magic Giveaway Contest Search For A Winner (Second Cut)

Ok, I’ve cut the contest entries down to 42. It’s getting harder and harder!

Go check the second cut flickr set to see if you’re still in the race.

The next cut will be posted in a couple of hours… Good luck!

Oh my gosh…this is so intense…I’m still in, my hands are sweating and I’m cutting off the circulation to my fingers as I sit here crossing them in hopes that I get to the finish line :)….stress level is kicking my back end!!!!

NO! I needed this, our school is about to get another 4 million dollar budget cut and the HP Touch would have been perfect for the school newspaper/journalism class. Damn…

I agree barbara! My hands are sweating 🙂
And now I won’t be able to check who won tonight – I will be away from a computer all night long! Congrats to whoever wins!

    Sorry Kearnjo…

I need to go fix and eat dinner now. The next cut will be more drastic. Down to 10. Then down to 4 and then I’ll choose the final winner.

I hope you all don’t mind the way I’m doing this. I figure it’s more fun for everyone than just picking the winner and posting it right away.

Definitely more fun… and intense! 🙂

The suspense is killing me XD . Congrats to everyone who’s made it into the second cut, this should be interesting 😀

I agree! I’m enjoying the count down! It’s more fun this way!

Julie…I don’t mind at all (the way you’re doing it). It is very fun; stressful, but very fun. It actually makes me feel like I might still have a chance a few hours longer…ha-ha/ that is unless I make it to the end…I don’t know what I’d do if I were the winner. Probably scream, jump, cry, scream, cry and then try to compose myself long enough to keep a secret till the day it comes in and then it’d be off to giving the gifts to all of the people on my list!!!! 🙂

I am imagining all of it and then I’m second guessing myself because the entries are so good…
    -barbara 🙂

Beyond any doubt this seems to be one of the more fair contests that is being conducted right now.

And I’m sure we all know of very well deserving organizations that could desperatly use any help they can get.
In times like this it will bring you great juju’s to help others.
Ebay is not on my christmas list!

I sincerely wish everyone the best and hope part of this wonderful prize goes to carry on great acts of kindness…..we all could use more of that!

Thank you all who were responsible for this promotion. It does the heart good.

I love how you are paring down the entries, I think it really makes the site’s implementation of HP Magic Giveaway more fun than the other 49. It’s like watching sports, very suspenseful.

Talk about getting knots in my stomach!!! At the same time, I do not envy you having to judge all of the entrys. While we were reviewing the flickr group of submissions, before finalizing ours, it was amazing to see how many the ideas we collected were already there on the site, and many of them done so well!

This has been a fun project for my whole family. I don’t think I have gotten to spend this much “creative” time with them in a long time.

    Thanks for the opportunity.

The suspense is killing me 🙂 But I agree with the others – making several cuts is a fun way to do it. Good luck everyone!

Very funny and intense way to choose winner (thriller too)! …my hands are shaking while writing this!

I spend lots and lots of thinking of some creative idea and then came up with my entry, i had to give my exam in college without much preperation coz i was busy in my artwork previous night! …oh god! stop! why am i shaking..!?!
