Speaking as someone with a B.S. in Chemistry, I would loved to have found these when my daughter was younger. Add this set of stick-on labels from the QueInteresante shop at Etsy to a basic set of 96 Crayola Crayons to identify each color with the chemical compound that imparts the color. You’ll get 96 colored labels that will blend in with the crayons’ labels, a sheet with information about which chemical name goes with which color, and a brief chemistry lesson for the non-chemist (or for those of us who haven’t used our chemistry knowledge in many years…) The labels are expensive at $22.00 for the set, but they do impart a certain geeky cachet to a normal crayon.
