Of course, you can get most of them open in seconds with some filed-down bits of spring steel, and still be able to re-lock them…

The bullet at the padlock was a very old commercial back in the sixties/seventies.
But then everyone realized that the padlock was rarely the strongest part of locking something. The coupler that held the padlock was usually much more flimsy.
I’d just unscrew the eyebolt the lock is hanging from. Bullets are expensive !
Picking most of these locks is much quieter then a bullet. Also a dewalt drill down the tumbler is often faster.
The Truth is no lock will stop those that want in bad enought. Locks keep the honest people honest.
