wifi-bodyscaleWould you like to know how many pounds last weekend’s binge of McDonald’s cheeseburgers, fries and chocolate chip cookies put on your badonka-donk? There’s an app for that! Actually, there’s a scale and an app for that. It’s the WiFi Body Scale from Withings and I want one. First of all, it’s a sleek (.9 inch) steel scale that reports your weight, lean & fat mass, and calculated body mass index (BMI). It goes one step further by transmitting this info to Withings free iPhone app or a secure website. Up to 8 people can share the scale, which is powered by 5 AAA batteries. The price is $159.00.

Why on earth would I want my iPhone to know how much I weigh? That bloody thing can never keep its mouth shut. ;-)

@ryan:
Think of the iphone as a HUD for the scale. Plus, sometimes the belly gets in the way of scale’s readout.
