Some people will say that the Kymera Magic Wand is seriously nerdy, but I say it’s seriously cool. It’s a TV remote that recognizes 13 gestures for controlling your TV or other IR devices. It comes in a faux dragonhide box and will be available at the first of October for £49.95. Now if only there were a gesture to make commercials disappear!

    @Julie:

    Um….Not only is “Luminos” not an HP spell (You’re thinking Lumos, perhaps?), the incantation that goes along with swish and flick is Wingardium Leviosa.

    Julie says:

    @Michelle Wow, you’re a hard core fan ;) I ‘thought’ Luminos turned the wand into a little flashlight. I need to go back and read the books or watch the movies :)

    Debonair says:

    @dylan… the patronus charm? expecto patronum? it is an advanced spell which REQUIRES chanting the incantation expecto patronum while thinking of happy memories… and is used to wipe out dementors.. LOL

    The Kymera Wand Community site is in the making at http://www.wand-control.com. Working together with the genius wand makers Chris Barnardo and Richard Blakesley of The Wand Company Ltd. we want to provide a place where wand users can get the latest information, share their experiences and stories and discuss anything related to the Kymera Wand.
