@Bruce You shouldn’t be looking at that side of the device when you press a button ;)

There is no worry about mixing up those buttons. They are both for the light, not the spray. The light has a very good design that enables quick reaction while nearly eliminating the possibility of accidental discharge of the spray. They way it is held and sprayed make it extremely difficult to spray yourself.
