I have found a new time-waster that is making me wish I had paid more attention during geometry…Calypso, by funGames. The action starts with a grid full of empty hexagons. You remember those – a polygon with six edges and six ventricles, right? Similar to Tetris in a way, various shapes composed of joined heaxagons will drop down on the left side of the screen. The trick is that one of the segments will have a dot in it, and that is the dot you must plan your grid on the right by, until it is filled. Conveniently enough, as certain portions of the grid are filled, they will empty. You may need this space to get through the level – but the more you play, the better you will get at filling each grid only once. After you have filled each grid, a new playing ground appears, and the joined hexagons will drop faster and faster as you try to place them. It can get a little bit frantic! This is a thinking persons puzzle, and they give you two levels for free to see what you think about the game. Enjoy! :0)
