REVIEW – It never fails! Every time a new iPhone comes out, I scramble to find a case I like. My usual go-to case was recently discontinued, so now I’m on the hunt for something new. What I didn’t expect was this new feature with the TORRAS 360 Spin series.
What is it?
The Torras 360 Spin Case is an iPhone case that was designed with a trick up its sleeve: The Magsafe ring also doubles as a highly adjustable kickstand that stays in place. Twist all you like!
TORRAS has a case for each of the new iPhone 16 models. I received samples for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16.
Design and features
Since I have an iPhone 16 Pro, I’ll focus on those two. All other cases operate in the same way.
The new camera button is mostly flush to the edge of the bezel, so that’s good!
Note the camera button cutout. All other buttons are covered with plastic pushers.
Performance
I found the build quality of the TORRAS case to be excellent. I’m surprised at how sturdy the hinge is. If you’re the kind that likes to go hands-free, this is a great feature to have. Landscape or portrait? It’s up to you!Somehow, TORRAS managed to design in detents at specific rotating angles. How did they do that in something so thin? Rotating the ring for the click-click-click is almost fidget-toy level of satisfaction.
What I like about the TORRAS 360 Spin Series iPhone cases
- Clever swivel stand hinge stays in place.
- Ring does not interefere with Magsafe charging.
- Buttons give a nice tactile feel.
What needs to be improved?
- Price is higher than average.
- My personal preference would be to have a more textured finish.
Price: $39 to $49
