NEWS – How many times have you tried to take your slow cooker to a family gathering and it’s tipped over in your car and caused a terrible mess? The Presto Nomad slow cooker solves that first-world problem like a champ. The Nomade might look like a cooler, but it’s really an 8-quart insulated traveling cooker that you can use to cook your food at home and then lock the lid for mess-free transport to a family gathering, tailgate party, or campsite. It even has a handy dry-erase panel so you can write the contents. The Presto Nomad travel cooker requires AC to power it, so if you want to cook on the go, you’ll need a power station. You can buy the Nomad on Amazon for $87.85

for someone who doesn’t camp you sure come up with some neat stuff
with open fire restraints we are seeing induction cooktops and slow cookers plugged in to campers and power stanchions
a no power solution is to start your meal at home then put it in a hay box (instead of hat i just use a couple of beach towels)…it will continue to cook without additional heat
Craig, hehe yes, I like finding neat outdoor gear even if I’d never use it myself! Heck, I can’t be outside more than a few minutes and bugs are already eating me alive! Just last week, I was a host for a dozen or more baby ticks.
