CROWDFUNDING NEWS – Are you a golfer? Do you go to the driving range? If the answers are “yes”, one more question: what’s the worst thing about the driving range? I’ll answer that for you – it’s the constant bending and stooping to tee up the next ball. Crowdfunding project Gravity Caddy wants to end the bend.
The system is amazingly simple. Just load up the hopper with golf balls and trip the see-saw arm once. It tees up the ball and retracts. Once you hit the ball, Gravity Caddy will automatically tee up the next ball.
It comes fully assembled and ready to use.
Gravity Caddy is designed to be portable, so hauling it to the range is no big deal.
If you are really serious and have your own hitting net, Gravity Caddy can be used just about anywhere.
They have already hit nearly $16,000 in funding, blowing past their $7,467 goal. They are funding in Canadian dollars, so the US numbers are estimated based on today’s exchange rates.
The campaign runs to Thursday, September 10, 2020, at 10:59 PM EDT with a target to start shipping to backers in November 2020. Rewards start at CA$ 109, about $82 US.
If you think this is worth taking a swing, check out their campaign on Kickstarter for more information.
