popit sense 2

NEWS – The Popit Sense is a small plastic clip with built-in sensors that clips to a blister package of medication to remind you when to take your meds. It not only knows when you’ve missed taking a pill, but it knows how many you’ve taken and logs the info into the companion smartphone app.

The biggest issue with this product is that it’s been designed only for pill packs and not for pill bottles. The Popit Sense smart pill reminder is available in several colors and is priced at $49.00. Head over to shop.popit.io for more info and to order.

  2. This very morning I popped a pill out of the pack and dropped it. It rolled away and I haven’t found it yet. I’ll bet your smart clip can’t cope with that!
Seriously, it looks like a great idea. I will think about it.

This is a terrific idea! Wish it could keep track of more than one pack at a time. And like you, I wish it could be used with bottles. I work with seniors who take no fewer than 7 different prescription medications and for them the price point of $49 per pill is a bit steep. This is on the right track.

    FYI….
Longterm care pharmacies regularly put up medications in blister packs but retail pharmacies routinely put up prescriptions in
    bottles.
