There are a lot of people who believe the 8 glasses of water a day rule is silly. They say don’t worry about it and only need to drink when you’re thirsty. Others feel differently and say the more water you drink (within reason of course), the healthier you will be. What do you think, do you keep track of your water intake? I know I don’t drink enough because I only drink when I’m thirsty and I’m rarely thirsty. I work out 4-5 times a week and sweat. I find when I am not paying attention to my water intake that I feel more fatigued and suffer from headaches. It’s nice to have a little reminder to take a drink when I’m sitting at my desk working for 8hrs. Ulla is a sensor that has been designed for just that task. It has no buttons and does not require a smartphone to use it. Just slip it on your favorite bottle or glass and it alert you every 30 minutes to take a drink. The alert is an LED that glows when you need to take a drink. There are no buzzers or sound alerts, which makes it perfect for an office environment. If you miss two 30 minute reminders, it will turn off and then start working again when you come back to your desk and take a sip. Ulla can run on one battery for up to 6 months and comes in a variety of colors and fits on most water bottles and glasses. It is priced at $29.99 and includes free US shipping. 2. ‘8 glasses of water a day’ is silly, and unsupported by anything. ‘Drink regularly’ isn’t. If you have trouble meeting the latter without thinking about it, this looks like a good device.
