An apron? What? Yes. If you’ve ever undertaken a household repair project by yourself, you immediately discover that we humans are cursed with only two hands and not enough pockets. This may be the next best thing.
I just moved into a “new” home originally built in the 1930’s. Can you say “Honey-Do List?” However, this simple apron is likely to take the sting out of any chore. I was sent the Tan Suede color.

The very first thing you notice is the utterly intoxicating leather smell. Flip the apron over, and yes… Made in USA with genuine leather. 
The overall width of the apron measures just over 21 inches wide…
…and about 8-1/2″ tall. The pockets are about 6″ deep.
Each pocket is roomy and generous. As you can see, the suede is flexible and supple, yet highly durable.
One small touch I nearly missed: The strap starts off at about 13/16″ wide, and tapers to a smaller width towards the tips. Leather straps measure 48″ L.
The apron weighs just a tad over 13 ounces.
Here’s your average schmoe homeowner on a weekend in sweatpants, modeling the North Star Leather Co. Nail Apron. (Don’t laugh at my wimpy 7 ounce hammer.) Plenty of leftover strap, as you can tell (waist: mid-30’s)
I measured out a pound of screws, and there was plenty of room to spare. It barely filled in half of one pouch.
