Cheap Android tablets are everywhere, but finding one with the right compromises can be harder than finding one with a low price. Entry-level models often combine limited storage, older software, basic screens, and processors that leave little performance headroom. Lenovo’s Erazer brand, also known as Yinengzhe in China, is taking a straightforward approach with the X11A, a new 10.95-inch Android tablet starting at 899 yuan.

The X11A does not pretend to be a premium tablet. Its MediaTek processor is firmly entry-level, the display reaches 300 nits, and the 6,000mAh battery is not unusually large for a nearly 11-inch device. Instead, the appeal comes from combining a large fully laminated screen, Android 15, expandable storage, and up to 256GB of built-in storage at a low price.
For someone shopping for a secondary tablet for browsing, video, reading, or other basic Android tasks, that simpler approach could make more sense than paying for high-end hardware that goes unused.
The 10.95-Inch Display Is the Main Attraction
The X11A uses a 10.95-inch fully laminated In-Cell display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and 10-point touch support. Its 16:10 aspect ratio gives movies, websites, ebooks, and Android apps considerably more room than a phone without pushing the tablet into oversized territory.
Full lamination is notable at this price because it reduces the physical gap between layers in the display assembly. That does not automatically guarantee better image quality, however. Lenovo lists a maximum brightness of only 300 nits, which is modest compared with more expensive tablets.
Specifications also cannot tell us about color accuracy, response times, viewing angles, or outdoor visibility. Those areas need independent testing before the X11A’s display can be judged beyond its basic specifications.
The MT8768 Makes the Budget Positioning Obvious
Inside is a MediaTek MT8768, an octa-core processor manufactured on a 12nm process. It uses eight Cortex-A53 CPU cores and IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics.
This is an older entry-level platform rather than a processor designed to compete with today’s midrange or flagship tablet chips. It has previously appeared in inexpensive Android hardware, including Lenovo’s Tab M8 family.
That makes expectations important. The X11A is aimed at ordinary tablet duties rather than demanding gaming or heavy creative workloads. Exactly how responsive it feels when multitasking or running modern Android applications will require hands-on testing.
The base configuration provides 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for 899 yuan, while an 8GB/256GB version costs 1,099 yuan. The X11A also supports microSD expansion, giving buyers another way to add space for downloaded videos, photos, documents, and other files.
Android 15 Is a Good Starting Point
The X11A ships with Android 15, which is encouraging for an inexpensive tablet. However, shipping with a relatively recent Android version is not the same as having a long software-support commitment.
There is currently no clearly documented multi-year Android upgrade policy for the X11A. Anyone planning to keep the tablet for several years should therefore consider future OS and security support an unanswered question rather than assuming multiple upgrades are guaranteed.
Connectivity covers the essentials with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Keeping the headphone jack is especially practical for an inexpensive tablet that might be used by children, in classrooms, or while traveling with basic wired headphones.
The 6,000mAh Battery Is Relatively Modest
Power comes from a 6,000mAh battery, a modest capacity for a nearly 11-inch tablet. Actual runtime will depend on variables such as display brightness, workload, Wi-Fi use, and background activity, so independent testing is needed to assess endurance.
Audio comes from two 1W speakers, while the cameras include a 13MP rear sensor and 5MP front camera. The latter should handle video calls, but real-world audio and image quality remain to be tested.
It Weighs More Than Half a Kilogram
The X11A measures approximately 256.8 x 168.1 x 8.1mm and weighs around 520g. That is worth considering if the tablet will spend a lot of time being held rather than resting on a desk or stand.
Lenovo describes the exterior as having a metallic texture or finish. That wording should not be interpreted as confirmation of a full metal unibody, so the safer takeaway is that the company is giving the tablet a metal-like exterior treatment rather than making assumptions about its underlying construction.
Who Should Consider the Lenovo Erazer X11A?
The X11A is best suited to buyers who want a large, affordable Android tablet for everyday use. Its 10.95-inch 1920 x 1200 display, Android 15, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, microSD expansion, and headphone jack cover the essentials.
The tradeoffs are clear: an older MT8768 processor, 300-nit display, 6,000mAh battery, and no confirmed long-term update policy. It is also currently limited to China, with no international release announced.
