The difference between the Classic and iPhone 18 versions is mainly what happens on the screen. TORRAS says the Classic Edition recognizes iPhone 15 through iPhone 17 models, while the iPhone 18 Edition extends recognition through the iPhone 18 family and uses an updated interface.
Both versions can still charge compatible USB-C devices.
That is important if you are considering the iPhone 18 Edition purely because of its name. The upgrade is not necessary to make USB-C charging work with ordinary devices; it is primarily about expanded iPhone recognition and the on-screen experience.
45W Makes It Useful Beyond a Phone
A 45W maximum gives the FlashEye-Dot enough headroom for more than smartphone charging.
Compatible tablets and lower-power USB-C laptops, such as the MacBook Air, can also use the charger. Actual output depends on what the connected device requests, so plugging in something that accepts 20W does not force 45W into it.

One USB-C Port Keeps It Simple

Part of the FlashEye-Dot’s value therefore comes from its screen, device recognition, animated interface, and distinctive design rather than charging power alone.
Cable inclusion also depends on the configuration. TORRAS sells charger-only and charger-plus-cable versions, so buyers should check the exact Amazon option rather than assume a cable comes in every box.
The Yellow Design Doesn’t Disappear
Most wall chargers are designed to blend into an outlet. The FlashEye-Dot clearly is not.
